We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper and, ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.\nWe’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Director, Data Analytics.\nIn this role, you will:\nExecute various analyses and develop strategies to support business decisions across the customer lifecycle for a particular product or market.\nComplete analysis as required, document results and present findings to stakeholders.\nManage delivery within agreed timelines and in line with agreed quality standards.\nDrive business benefits through self-initiated projects.\nLearn new domain and technical skills and apply them to solve business problems.\nUse statistical and machine-learning algorithms to solve diverse business challenges and create significant business value.\nApply knowledge of cloud analytics platforms, such as Amazon Redshift and Microsoft Azure.\nTo be successful, you will:\nHave 8-14 years of hands-on analytics experience, solving complex data and business intelligence problems.\nHave experience using PEGA and NBAD.\nDemonstrate strong analytical skills, with business analysis experience or equivalent.\nHave in-depth knowledge and understanding of data modelling and business intelligence visualisation.\nBe able to interact confidently with senior management and communicate and synthesise information clearly and simply.\nHave experience with scripting and Looker dashboard development.\nHave scripting knowledge in BigQuery or Python.\nDemonstrate strong visualisation, dashboarding and storytelling skills.\nHave advanced Excel knowledge.\nHave experience in the contact centre industry.\nHave knowledge of Confluence and Google Cloud Platform for managing large datasets and designing relational and dimensional data models.\nPython scripting knowledge would be advantageous.\nYou’ll achieve more at HSBC\nhsbc.com/careers\nHSBC is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and their opinions count.
