By strengthening our control environment and enhancing risk management, we drive operational excellence and enable the bank to deliver focused and sustainable growth in this super-region.\nWe are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Business Analysis (Fixed Term - 2 year Contract)\nIn this role you will:\nCollect, cleanse and standardise data from products, workstreams and other agreed sources.\nMaintain accurate client-level datasets covering status, milestones, owners, dependencies and blockers.\nTrack status changes and produce movement, variance and exception reporting.\nBuild, refresh and distribute recurring MI reports, dashboards and supporting analysis.\nPerform data-quality checks, investigate discrepancies and maintain issue logs to support timely resolution.\nPrepare clear commentary, document data definitions and assumptions, and escalate material issues with an appropriate impact assessment.\nTo be successful you will need:\nExperience in data analysis, management information, reporting or a related field.\nPractical experience using Python, SQL and Alteryx for data extraction, transformation, validation or analysis.\nStrong Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Power BI or similar reporting and visualisation tools would be advantageous.\nStrong attention to detail, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and communicate findings clearly.\nYou’ll achieve more when you join HSBC.\nHSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
