We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realize their ambitions.\nWe are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager, Data and Analytics\nIn this role, you will be:\nBuild and maintain data models and curated datasets/“data assets” to support Business Intelligence(BI), reporting, insight and predictive analytics.\nSupport data quality (DQ) automation, governance, controls and alignment to enterprise data model (EDM) standards.\nPartner with data engineering/technology teams to enable robust, efficient pipelines and scalable solutions (advantageous where hands-on).\nAct as Subject matter expert (SME) of the process with end-end process knowledge in a Data Management domain\nDevelop / revise / reassess data remediation metrics and procedures for effective project delivery with reduced cost and sustainable quality.\nTake effective decisions and identify and resolve complex queries including stakeholder escalations.\nGuide and support the management to take strategic decisions.\nEnable team to deliver expected results on set objectives via regular monitoring, guidance, training, coaching etc.\nFlawless implementation of new projects and / or line of work.\nProduce high-quality presentations and storytelling for senior stakeholders; communicate complex concepts clearly to mixed audiences.\nTo be successful you will be:\n3+ years of knowledge/experience on data management, data governance, Data quality (DQ) with any graduation or post-graduation.\nKnowledge and experience on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Coding Tools - e.g., Big Query\nKnowledge and experience on Python, Jupyter Notebook/Spyder/Pandas/Numpy/PySpark/ Scala is good to have.\nKnowledge on Data Visualization tools - e.g., Qliksense/Looker is good to have skill.\nHigh Proficiency in MS Excel & Powerpoint\nAdvanced knowledge of MS Excel including macro based excel sheets (VBA) are also an added advantage\nYou’ll achieve more when you join HSBC\nwww.hsbc.com/careers\nHSBC is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
