channel optimisation, customer experience and competitive positioning.\nTranslate business questions into analytical requirements, hypotheses and measurable outcomes.\nHelp define KPIs and metrics to assess the impact of analytics initiatives.\nContribute to the development of reusable analytical approaches and reporting materials.\nData-driven decision-making\nAnalyse data to identify trends, patterns, opportunities and areas for improvement.\nSupport the development and application of predictive models, segmentation, portfolio analysis and scenario modelling.\nInterpret analytical outputs and translate them into practical business recommendations.\nPrepare clear reports, presentations and dashboards for business stakeholders and management.\nValidate assumptions, data quality and analytical results before sharing conclusions.\nSupport senior colleagues in presenting insights and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.\nBusiness strategy and process improvement\nIdentify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness, resource allocation and decision-making through analytics.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to support the implementation of data-driven solutions.\nHelp embed analytics into business processes and management routines.\nAssess the potential impact of proposed solutions on customers, colleagues and operating processes.\nSupport continuous improvement by reviewing performance data and stakeholder feedback.\nStakeholder engagement and collaboration\nWork collaboratively with analytics, technology, business, finance, risk, compliance, legal and data-governance teams.\nBuild effective relationships with stakeholders and maintain clear communication throughout delivery.\nExplain analytical findings and technical concepts in an accessible way to non-technical audiences.\nPrepare meeting materials, status updates, management information and decision papers.\nSupport workshops and discussions to clarify requirements, resolve issues and agree next steps.\nPromote the value of evidence-based decision-making across relevant business areas.\nGovernance and data management\nFollow applicable internal standards, governance processes and regulatory expectations for data and analytics.\nSupport appropriate documentation of data sources, assumptions, methodologies, limitations and outcomes.\nWork with relevant control functions to identify and manage data, privacy, security and implementation risks.\nHelp ensure that analytical solutions are appropriately monitored and maintained.\nEscalate material risks, control concerns or delivery issues promptly.\nMaintain high standards of confidentiality, data handling and professional conduct.\nContinuous improvement and industry alignment\nKeep up to date with developments in analytics, banking technology and financial-services practices.\nResearch relevant tools, techniques and industry examples from Hong Kong, China and international markets.\nSupport benchmarking against leading financial institutions.\nEvaluate emerging analytical tools and methodologies based on business value, maturity, security and practical application.\nShare relevant insights and recommendations with the wider team.\nContribute to experimentation and continuous improvement while maintaining appropriate governance.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Quantitative Finance, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Analytics, Computer Science or a related discipline.\nExperience with data analysis, business analytics, strategy, product development, transformation or a related area.\nUnderstanding of analytical techniques such as segmentation, portfolio analytics, pricing analysis, predictive modelling and scenario analysis.\nAbility to translate business questions into analytical approaches and clear recommendations.\nExperience using tools such as Python, SQL, Tableau, Qlik Sense or Looker Studio.\nFamiliarity with cloud environments such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform is advantageous.\nBasic understanding of data governance, privacy, information security and regulatory requirements.\nStrong written, verbal and presentation skills.\nAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.\nA proactive, detail-oriented and collaborative approach to problem-solving.\nFoundational knowledge of banking or financial services, preferably including retail banking, wealth management or customer analytics.\nCandidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Carrer Band than stated above.\nDue to the urgent hiring need, candidates with immediate right to work
