Manager, Risk Management

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

• Review and challenge of product pipelines including product design, pricing, underwriting, claims, and reinsurance arrangements.
• Oversight the implementation Group IUR and HNW framework.
• Strategy risk oversight including FRP review, and insurance risk perspective input on business strategy and key strategic initiatives.
• Liquidity risk review and challenges from insurance risk perspective.
• Facilitate GI risk control requirements and provide local inputs for model risk managements.
• Regulatory Reporting: conduct SARMRA Insurance Risk assessment annually with review and remediation follow-up; Prepare local regulators’ required periodic and ad hoc reports.
• Oversight the entity’s IFRS, EC, CAS25, Capital and other local regulatory reporting results.
• Enhance and maintain insurance risk appetite framework.
• Provide oversight and support for the effective implementation of the RMF and regulatory requirements.

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Solid life insurance experience of either valuation, pricing, ALM, investment or FRM
• Extensive knowledge of industry good practice and emerging regulations in the actuarial filed
• Strong technical knowledge of understanding insurance financial methodologies and techniques
• Experience of IFRS17 or CAS25 implementation
• Commitment to quality while still meeting the deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fast leaner and easy going to fit the team
• Actuarial qualifications of FSA preferred
• Good at both English and Chinese.
