Develop and manage frontend applications primarily using React and Next.js, with additional capabilities in JavaScript and other frameworks.\nDesign and implement core backend services and systems to serve other applications using high performance programming languages such as java.\nDemonstrate a strong ability to understand and apply software architecture patterns, including microservices and event-driven architecture, to design robust and scalable solutions.\nWork closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements and goals.\nCommunicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including business leaders and external partners.\nRapid response to issues as they arise, with the ability to drive quickly to the heart of an issue and propose appropriate solutions.\nManage work and processes across multiple sites.\nMaintain discipline in coding practice while ensuring timely delivery of end solutions.\nRequirements\nProficiency in Python is required, with familiarity in other programming languages such as Java, C++, Go, Rust, and others being advantageous.\nStrong understanding of software architecture patterns, including microservices and event driven architecture. Familiarity with containerisation using Docker, and experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.\nStrong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.\nExperience with frontend technologies, including React and Next.js, and JavaScript.\nFamiliarity with data science and analytics techniques, including machine learning and statistical modelling.\nExperience with database management systems, including relational and NoSQL databases.\nExperience with Dash or other UI frameworks is a nice to have.\nCandidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.\nDue to the urgent hiring need, candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation need will be prioritised.\nYou’ll achieve more when you join HSBC.\nHSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
