GCOO change teams are at the center of the bank, working between Lines of Businesses and Functions on the highest profile programme from Strategy & design to delivery and change adoption.\nChange Managers manage change end-to-end through projects which are established to deliver a specific outcome, on time and on budget. Projects may be stand alone or part of a Programme.\nWhat you’ll do:\nInnovation and Idea Management\nPropose innovative ideas, test and refine with colleagues and stakeholders\nIdentify opportunities to streamline processes/governance and accelerate the delivery of the projects and acts on them\nBring innovative ideas to the business solutions / engagements by keeping updated on industry trends.\nCommerciality\nAligns deliverables with the strategies and priorities for their business area\nThinking commercially to identify opportunities to develop business from new/existing internal customers\nConsider impact and dependencies of the group priorities for the project and its deliverables. \nDemonstrates the ability to make decision independently by evaluating the risk, impact and potential revenue\nChallenge business decisions based on domain knowledge and prior experience.\nProject Governance & Planning\nArticulate and design business models, operating models and business case.\nProactively monitors plans with clear status update and escalates any risks or issues. Immediately highlights bottlenecks and offtrack activities slowing delivery. Understands the escalation process for issues and is able to effectively escalate, when necessary, for an effective solution. This inclusive of building and maintaining RAID document.\nCoordinates with stakeholders to facilitate the documentation of scope, quality, cost and effort, via effective written and verbal communications, with customized approach tailored to different audience.\nDesign, establish and maintain project governance, including clear sponsorship, tollgates and steering committee, in accordance to Change Framework.\nManage efficient utilization of resources and project costs, within allocated budget\nIndependently and proactively overcome obstacles to success, deal with uncertainty and changing circumstances, such as interdependencies, opportunities or risks.\nTrack & manage project progress comprehensively including scope, budget, timeline, risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions and benefits / outcome realization.\nProactively provide comprehensive updates, taking ownership of any assigned plan for the entire team.\nDesign (consulting) and Business Analysis\nDesign problem solving approaches and frameworks (incl. target operating models, process and system transformation).\nAnalyze current state,design the future state, validate assumptions with stakeholders to align with business requirements. \nElicit requirements, refine and obtain sign off from stakeholders, including managing potentially conflicting requirements.\nApply financial modelling (e.g. business case projections, project financial health assessment).\nLead design refinement to ensure compliance with requirements, design & execute testing to ensure comprehensive coverage of requirements, design and business scenarios. Maintain requirements traceability.\nPlan & execute deployment activities including ensuring completion of business readiness, deployment pre-requisites, post-deployment health check and sign offs.\nPerform effective gap analysis to the required level of granularity based on different stakeholder needs / views. Develop and execute action plan to close the gaps assessed.\nDelivery at Pace\nBuild and maintain a reputation for reliable, efficient and effective delivery of business solutions.\nManage own & team’s time via workload prioritization to achieve project/program objectives in the most efficient manner.\nMonitor & manage any off-track activities and bottlenecks, and highlighting/escalating as required, and providing solution options with cost benefit analysis.\nAccelerate delivery of projects by identifying & executing simplification opportunities.\nEnsure sustainable delivery at pace by maintaining team’s morale, energy and monitoring work velocity.\nWhat you will need to succeed in the role:\nAt least 5 years of experience working in change environments across strategy, design (consulting), initiation and delivery.\nIndustry experience in implementing mid-sized organisationalchange and business transformation projects for banking industry.\nDemonstrable experience of independent stakeholder management, especially impactful communication, influencing and running project governance.\nDemonstrated ability to independently build, maintain and navigate the organization using formal / informal networking skills.\nIn depth experience of working in a banking environment for operations, system transformation, Organization Design (incl. potentially M&A) projects; \nExperienced in supporting the definition of a business problem, and solutions based on data. \nExcellent problem solving & analysis skills including extensive PowerPoint and Excel know-how\nExperienced in supporting & executing end to end project lifecycle from initiation till closure at pace and with clear examples that project outcomes were achieved.
