We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Product Designer
In this role, you will:
- Design end-to-end experiences across sketches, wireframes, mock-ups, interactive prototypes and final visual designs
- Apply user-centred design thinking by gathering insights through qualitative research and usability testing
- Translate early concepts into wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes at pace using tools such as Figma
- Create visually engaging UI with strong hierarchy, motion and micro-interactions that support clear customer journeys
- Structure content through effective information architecture and clear content hierarchy
- Partner across markets to reflect cultural nuances and regulatory requirements within the user experience
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders to inform and influence product direction
- Strengthen HSBC’s design system and ensure alignment with global brand standards and accessibility expectations
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Bring substantial UX and UI design experience ideally within fast-paced or large-scale digital environments
- Show a strong portfolio demonstrating responsive and mobile-first design with clear impact for users or the business
- Apply UX best practices across journey mapping, usability testing, interface audits and workflow design
- Use Figma or equivalent design and prototyping tools to produce high-quality outcomes from concept to delivery
- Craft clear, user-centred copy as part of the design process through UX writing experience
- Communicate design decisions clearly in writing and in presentations to a range of stakeholders
- Work effectively in Agile or cross-functional teams across product and delivery disciplines
- Demonstrate banking, wealth or premium banking product experience including onboarding journeys where applicable
