We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.\nWe are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Product Designer\nIn this role, you will:\nDesign end-to-end experiences across sketches, wireframes, mock-ups, interactive prototypes and final visual designs\nApply user-centred design thinking by gathering insights through qualitative research and usability testing\nTranslate early concepts into wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes at pace using tools such as Figma\nCreate visually engaging UI with strong hierarchy, motion and micro-interactions that support clear customer journeys\nStructure content through effective information architecture and clear content hierarchy\nPartner across markets to reflect cultural nuances and regulatory requirements within the user experience\nPresent design concepts and rationale to stakeholders to inform and influence product direction\nStrengthen HSBC’s design system and ensure alignment with global brand standards and accessibility expectations\nTo be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:\nBring substantial UX and UI design experience ideally within fast-paced or large-scale digital environments\nShow a strong portfolio demonstrating responsive and mobile-first design with clear impact for users or the business\nApply UX best practices across journey mapping, usability testing, interface audits and workflow design\nUse Figma or equivalent design and prototyping tools to produce high-quality outcomes from concept to delivery\nCraft clear, user-centred copy as part of the design process through UX writing experience\nCommunicate design decisions clearly in writing and in presentations to a range of stakeholders\nWork effectively in Agile or cross-functional teams across product and delivery disciplines\nDemonstrate banking, wealth or premium banking product experience including onboarding journeys where applicable\nBuilding global wealth experiences\nThis is a chance to shape the digital experience for affluent customers across HSBC’s priority markets and help set the standard for how we design at scale.
