We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Sr. Associate Director, Data and Analytics.

Principal responsibilities

Technical Leadership:

• Act as a hands-on lead developer, guiding the team in designing, developing, and deploying high-quality software solutions.
• Provide technical mentorship to a team of multiple teams of developers, ensuring best practices in coding, design, and architecture.
• Drive the adoption of modern development frameworks, tools, and methodologies.

Product Development:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand technical and customer needs, aligning them with the product vision.
• Take ownership of greenfield projects, leading them from inception to production release.
• Ensure the delivery of scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions that meet business requirements.

System Design and Implementation:

• Architect and implement solutions using Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Integration.
• Design and integrate secure authentication mechanisms using OAuth 2.0.
• Develop and maintain robust data storage solutions using MongoDB.

Cloud and DevOps:

• Leverage AWS services to build and deploy cloud-native applications.
• Implement containerized solutions using Kubernetes for scalability and reliability.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to ensure smooth deployment processes.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, QA engineers, and operations teams.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and technical challenges.

Requirements

Technical Expertise:

• At least 8 years of hands-on experience in 5 or more of the following technologies: Java, Spring Framework (including Spring Integration), OAuth 2.0, MongoDB, AWS, Kubernetes, Jenkins Pipeline

Leadership Skills:

• Proven experience leading a team of multiple teams of developers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Ability to mentor junior developers and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Product Ownership:

• Strong product owner mentality, with a focus on understanding technical and customer needs while aligning with the product vision.
• Experience in delivering greenfield projects from concept to production release.

Problem-Solving and Communication:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Skills (Preferred but not mandatory):

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular) is a plus.
