The role is accountable for delivery planning, governance, risks, dependencies, resourcing, stakeholder communications and implementation.\nThe role also includes Scrum Master responsibilities, supporting Agile delivery practices, facilitating team ceremonies and improving delivery visibility and flow.\nMain activities:\nLead technology programmes and projects from initiation through delivery and closure.\nDefine project scope, objectives, milestones, delivery plans and success criteria.\nIntegrate plans across technology and business workstreams.\nManage dependencies, assumptions, risks, issues and actions.\nMonitor delivery against scope, timelines, budget, quality and outcomes.\nPrepare status reports, governance materials and management information.\nFacilitate steering committees, project boards, working groups and Agile ceremonies.\nManage change requests, resource planning, capacity, suppliers and financial tracking.\nCoordinate testing, releases, implementation, transition to support and closure.\nMaintain RAID (risk assumptions issues dependencies) logs, decisions, audit evidence, delivery metrics and lessons learned.\nRequirements\nExperience managing technology programmes and projects through the full delivery lifecycle, coordinating delivery across multiple teams, locations and business functions.\nStrong knowledge of software development and technology delivery lifecycles, with practical experience using Agile, Scrum and hybrid delivery models, including Scrum Master responsibilities.\nExperience managing scope, schedules, dependencies, risks, issues and change, while applying technology governance, information security, risk management and change-control principles.\nExperience preparing governance materials, reporting delivery status to senior stakeholders and communicating technical information clearly to business and management audiences.\nExperience facilitating meetings, workshops, governance forums and Agile ceremonies.\nProficiency in delivery management tools such as Jira, Confluence and Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms.\nExperience coordinating third-party suppliers and technology partners.\nYou’ll achieve more when you join HSBC!\nAt HSBC we offer our colleagues a greater number of days so that they can fully enjoy their wedding, take care of the new member of the family, or grieve the loss of a family member.
