The team delivers tools strengthening Product Control activities, providing analytical insights and capabilities. The jobholder will primarily focus on driving development of automated solutions for Product Control.\nPrincipal Accountabilities\nDesign, build and maintain automated solutions to improve controls and analytical processes (Python/SQL/VBA)\nParticipate in designing, implementing and driving Citizen Development framework\nPromote best coding practices for Citizen Development and provide guidance to developers\nWork closely with the Product Control stakeholders to shape the solutions to meet the requirements and comply with policies\nCooperate with the Technology department to ensure smooth integration and deployment\nPromote programming knowledge in Product Control department\nIn cooperation with wider Product Control Data and Engineering team support the proper and correct delivery of standardised data to line teams\nQualifications\nProficient in Python programming, VBA and SQL\nKnowledge of Jira, Git, test driven development\nExperience with Product Control Financial data\nExperience in designing microservice-driven system architectures\nUniversity graduate from a reputed institution in engineering, finance, economic subjects or similar\nStrong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem solving\nExcellent written English and oral communication skills\nDue to the urgent hiring need, candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation need will be prioritised.\nYou’ll achieve more when you join HSBC.\nwww.hsbc.com/careers\nHSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
