We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.\nWe are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of WEB PRODUCTION MANAGER.\nPrincipal responsibilities\nPrincipal Accountabilities and Responsibilities (e.g., for Business, Customers and Stakeholders; internal control environment, etc.)\nEnsure team adherence to department guidelines, compliance regulations, policies and procedures relating to content and web design with coordination with teams and business stakeholders.\nPeriodic review of processes to identify opportunities and actionable improvements to be implemented.\nMaintain documentation and ensure consistency in navigation, use of templates, functionality and different website elements through testing and deployments.\nWork with teams to generate, review and analyse websites performance.\nGuarantee a high-quality of work by reviewing own and team’s output, identify skills gaps, and provide training as needed.\nEnsure delivery of projects according to specification, cost, and timeline by regularly monitoring requirements, planning, and directing production in collaboration with different teams eg IT, vendor, marketing, etc.\nAssigning work to staff, submit of website related reports and improve production metrics.\nDevelop professional and harmonious relationships with different stakeholders through constant communication aimed to obtain a clear understanding of the business strategic objectives, support planning and execution.\nLeadership & Teamwork\nDemonstrate a steady improvement in one’s skills and capabilities by supporting and planning collaborative work and cross-training opportunities.\nKeep abreast on the current technology used in HSBC, industry trends and best practices that can be adapted into the ways of working.\nAs lead, management responsibility for team(s) by providing clear direction and setting goals .\nFacilitate technical training to amplify efficiency, quality, and performance .\nCommunicate clearly, concisely, and optimally to drive key messages on strategy, decisions and actions and get the team’s buy-in and support .\nEnable collaboration and teamwork within the service, and with service recipients, stakeholders and supporting functions .\nActively develop others, and model expected behaviour and attitude aligned to the HSBC values.\nRequirements\nTechnical expertise on web development, content management systems, and other digital publishing platforms and tools.\nSolid knowledge on CSS, HTML and JavaScript to conduct day-to-day content management activities and oversee the team’s delivery and targets.\nMaintaining best practice in producing online content, in accordance with compliance, and style guides.\nEssential understanding on proofreading and editorial content check.\nStructured and systematic working style in managing tasks assigned as a member, lead and the subject matter expert.\nRestate the fundamentals of website user experience, accessibility standards (WCAG), analytics and SEO practices to enable process and website metrics improvements .\nWork with support teams in addressing production issues through root-cause analysis, risk and impact assessment and create mitigating controls.\nPeople skills to develop capabilities and skills of all team members through structured training programmes, embedding a coaching culture, peer-to-peer mentoring, and future skills.\nCandidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.\nDue to the urgent hiring need, candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation need will be prioritised.\nYou’ll achieve more when you join HSBC.\nHSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
