The Student Account Representative will ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions, as well as deliver exceptional customer service to students, parents, and staff.\nResponsibilities\nRESPONSIBILITIES UNIVERSITY & HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAMS\nIncludes but not limited to:\nCounsel students and parents on the various tuition payment options available\nFollow-up to ensure timely payments.\nReview credit and debit reports, as necessary.\nWork closely with the Financial Aid Office to review and clear pending accounts for registration.\nMake necessary adjustments to student accounts\nPrepare and notify the Financial Aid office regarding adjustments needed to student accounts.\nCalculate refunds owed to students in accordance with the College's and U.S. Department of Education's regulations; submit requests for refunds for timely payment.\nWork closely with the Office of Financial Aid and stay current with financial aid regulations.\nMail out past due notices to students.\nAnswer phone and email messages.\nSupport Help Desk inquiries.\nWork with the High School administration to ensure all high school parents are compliant with completing applicable forms and making required payments\nRESPONSIBILITIES ISRAEL EXPERIENCE PROGRAMS\nIncludes but not limited to:\nIntake all enrollment paperwork; ensure all necessary documents are correct, updated, and accounted for. \nCoordinate with Israeli Institutions to collect all necessary fees and credit information to update student accounts accurately. \nCharge tuition and fees according to the individual school rates. \nSecure tuition payments and administrative fees. \nPrepare check request forms, as necessary.\nSecure exchange checks where necessary. \nWork on resolving issues with both internal administrative offices, parents, and schools. \nMail pre-collection letters to students/parents \nMonitor payment plans to ensure they are on track\nReview credit and debit reports as necessary.\nMake necessary adjustments to student accounts \nPrepare and notify the Financial Aid office regarding adjustments needed to student accounts.\nCounsel students and parents on the various tuition payment options available \nFollow up to ensure timely payments. \nCalculate refunds owed to students in accordance with the College's and U.S. Department of Education's regulations; submit voucher and cc requests for refunds for timely payment.\nWork closely with the Office of Financial Aid and is familiar with financial aid regulations\nAnswer phone and email messages.\nSupport Help Desk inquiries\nQualifications\nEducation/ Experience\nBachelor’s degree required, concentration in accounting, mathematics, finance, or related field preferred. \nKnowledge/ Skills/ Abilities\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience in managing complex spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel are required.\nDemonstrated proficiency in communication (written and verbal) required\nFamiliarity in online learning platforms, including Banner, Canvas, Blackboard, & Adobe Connect, preferred\nStrong attention to detail required\nCustomer service and team-oriented required\nA high degree of interpersonal competency: professionalism, diplomacy, judgement, and discretion required\nOverall business acumen, ethical decision-making, and relationship management skills required\nExceptional analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and matrix management skills required\nBenefits\nFull range of Health PlansMedical Plans (choice of HMO, PPO +)\nFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA) \nDental Plans (PPO & HMO) and Vision Plan\n\nDependent Care and Transit Programs\nLife Insurance, AD&D and Voluntary Supplemental Life Insurance \nShort-term and Long-term disability programs \nRetirement Plan (403b) -
