The department’s name reflects its commitment to quality and operational excellence.\nAbout the Job:\nResolves all supplier related invoice issues, including PO, Self-Purchase Reimbursement, non-PO and Logistics\n\nMaintains Blanket Purchase Agreement, Executed Agreement/Contract in system\n\nFiles negotiated prices, regular price, historical price for Logistics procurement category, and benchmark maintenance activities\n\nDistributes documentation such as technical documentation, purchase orders/change orders, weekly project status reports, and follows up on each business unit price enquiries\n\nProvides support to Purchasing staff concerning, Office Leasing, Design Change Instructions, Change Order’s, filing and distribution of procurement records\n\nCreates RFQ and purchases orders for commitment to suppliers for small dollar best commercial goods and services\n\nExpedites small dollar/catalogue purchases, ensuring the deliverable or service is complete and purchase order is closed\n\nAssists procurement manager in preparing complex RFP and PO packages, prepares supporting documentation, and prepares correspondence procedures\n\nCoordinates all purchase requisitions received in Procurement department; reviews the PR to determine purchase category and its complexity\n\nThe total target annual compensation for this position ranges from $48,000 to $94,000 depending depending on education, experience, and demonstrated expertise.\nRequirements\nAbout the ideal candidate:\nBachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent education and experience\n\n1-2 years procurement experience or project management experience\n\nKnowledge of organizational structure, operations, policies and procedures\n\nExcellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills\n\nMust possess a high level of tact, initiative and diplomacy\n\nDemonstrated ability to use initiative and apply mature judgment in an environment of changing and conflicting priorities\n\nProficient in company software packages\n\nMust be a great team player\n\nAdditional Information:\nHuawei Canada is committed to a fair, inclusive, and accessible recruitment process.
