Working closely with Operations, Onboarding, and Terminal Managers, the Driver Recruiter develops and maintains a robust driver candidate pipeline, conducts pre-qualification assessments, and places drivers in alignment with company goals and operational requirements. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, deep knowledge of driver compliance requirements, and a commitment to recruiting the safest, highest-quality drivers in the industry.\nEssential Job Functions\nManage the full-cycle recruiting process for Company Drivers and Independent Contractors, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and presenting qualified candidates for hire. \nDevelop and maintain an active pipeline of qualified driver candidates through Tenstreet, referrals, networking, social media, job boards, recruiting events, cold calling, and other sourcing methods. \nPartner with the Driver Recruiting Manager, Terminal Managers, and Operations leadership to understand hiring priorities and support staffing needs across assigned locations. \nConduct candidate interviews to assess qualifications, driving experience, safety history, and overall fit for Hub Group opportunities. \nEffectively communicate job expectations, compensation, benefits, equipment, routes, and Hub Group's employment value proposition to prospective drivers. \nMaintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process, providing timely updates, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. \nCollaborate with the Recruiting Coordinator to facilitate background screening, DOT qualification requirements, onboarding activities, and pre-employment documentation. \nEnsure all recruiting activities are conducted in compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and applicable employment laws. \nMaintain accurate candidate records, recruiting activity, and pipeline information within Tenstreet and other recruiting systems. \nParticipate in recruiting events, job fairs, industry networking opportunities, and other sourcing initiatives to attract qualified drivers. \nMonitor recruiting activity and individual performance metrics, providing timely updates on hiring progress and candidate pipelines. \nBuild and maintain professional relationships with drivers, industry contacts, and referral sources to support ongoing recruiting efforts. \nPerform other duties and special projects as assigned. \nMinimum Qualifications\n Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience \nTwo (2) or more years of DOT driver recruiting experience within the transportation or logistics industry. \nExtensive knowledge of DOT regulations, driver qualification requirements, CDL classifications, and transportation recruiting practices. \nExperience managing high-volume recruiting activities and multiple open requisitions simultaneously. \nExperience operating a high-volume call center. \nProficiency with applicant tracking systems; Tenstreet experience preferred. \nStrong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. \nExcellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through. \nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. \nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment. \nAbility to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing business needs in a fast-paced environment. \nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience recruiting both Company Drivers and Independent Contractors. \nExperience supporting multi-site or regional recruiting operations. \nPrevious experience utilizing Tenstreet or similar transportation recruiting platforms. \nKnowledge of transportation industry recruiting trends and best practices. \nSalary Range: Up to $69,150/year base salary plus eligibility for additional incentive program\nThis is an estimated range based on the circumstances at the time of posting, however it may change based on a combination of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, education, market factors, geographical location, budget, and demand.\nBenefits We offer a comprehensive benefits plan including:\nMedical\nDental \nVision\nFlexible Spending Account (FSA)\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\nLife & AD&D Insurance\nDisability\nPaid Time Off\nPaid Holidays\nBEWARE OF FRAUD!\nHub Group has become aware of online recruiting related scams in which individuals who are not affiliated with or authorized by Hub Group are using Hub Group’s name in fraudulent emails, job postings, or social media messages.
