The Senior Associate Quality Engineer conducts internal quality controls to ensure established quality procedures and standards are followed. This role conducts routine quality analysis and tests/inspections of a quality control program, where duties and tasks are standardized. This role also monitors and records inconsistencies with quality procedures and standards. This individual prepares standard quality analyses and recommends necessary quality procedure changes. This role supervises the quality activities of the Business Unit, ensuring the maintenance of certifications objectives and procedural requirements of Canadian Standards Association (CSA), product certification of Underwriters Laboratories (UL), and compliance with the established Quality System as required by the International Standardization Organization (ISO) 9001-2015 / ISO 17025.\n\nA Day In The Life\n\nEvery day at Hubbell is different and you'll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you'll make a difference by: \nMonitoring, auditing, and evaluating production processes. \nCreating and maintaining Quality Assurance programs throughout the production operations. \nWorking on ISO Documentation and Revisions. \nManaging Calibration Systems, Tooling, and Instrumentation. \nLeading and participating in problem solving and troubleshooting activity for electro-mechanical and mechanical devices. \nLeading and participating in the internal audit program. \nSupporting new product development activity including PFMEA, DFMEA, Quality Planning, Measurement Systems design and deployment. \nIdentifying and addressing issues regarding control of material or supplier nonconformances.\n\nWhat will help you thrive in this role?\n\nBachelor's Degree in Quality, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (required) \n\n3-5 years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (required) \n\nAbility to perform Capability and Measurement Systems Analysis \n\nProven skills in problem solving and product investigation \n\nFamiliarity with statistical analysis and data analysis tools \n\nExperience writing and revising procedures, work instructions, forms, visual aids, etc. \n\nExperience working within an ISO 9001-2015 / ISO 17025 registered, or equivalently certified QMS (required) \n\nFluent in written and verbal English and Spanish languages.\n\nHubbell Incorporated\n\nHubbell creates critical infrastructure solutions that power our customers, communities, people and the planet.
