And your potential has no ceiling.\nWe would love for you to explore what is possible at HUB International.\nWe currently have an opportunity for an Account Executive to join our Employee Benefits team in our Melville, NY office on a Hybrid work schedule.\nGeneral Purpose\nProvides full-service account management to clients in the Employee Benefit Department. Independently manages accounts for all health and welfare plans including medical, dental, short and long term disability, vision, life/AD&D, travel accident, voluntary benefits and long term care. They can be groups of 2 or more.\nCore Responsibilities\nDay to day contact for client \nDevelop strong relationships\nResolve claims and administrative issues\nAct as liaison with insurance carriers and as an advocate for clients\nDesign benefit plan in conjunction with client needs and financial resources\nProcess renewals, including competitive bidding, providing cost effective plan design alternatives and employee contribution scenarios\nPrepare spreadsheets and renewal presentations as appropriate\nPrepare summary plan descriptions and other employee communication materials\nProvide client with periodic financial reports (monthly, quarterly, or annually, as provided by insurer) to assess plan’s performance and as a tool for renewal planning\nCoordinate timely delivery of Schedule A information for 5500 preparation, as appropriate\nMaintain & manage client information through HUB’s Agency Management System & data standards\nTypical Additional Responsibilities\nCoordinate health fairs and wellness initiatives when requested by client\nPrepare claim utilization analysis on self funded and large fully insured clients, as appropriate\nSecure stop-loss coverage for self-insured clients, as appropriate\nKnowledge/Skills & Abilities Required\nCollege degree or equivalent work experience\nMinimum of 5 years experience in brokerage, consulting, insurance company, or corporate benefits environment\nExcellent analytical & problem-solving skills\nExcellent verbal and written communications skills\nExcellent interpersonal skills\nComputer literate in Word, Excel and PowerPoint\nHighly detail-oriented\nAbility to multi-task\nCore Competencies\nCustomer/market focus\nBusiness/profit focus\nInspires shared vision/passion\nFosters collaboration\nTechnical/functional expertise\nResults oriented\nFast paced\nPhysical Requirements of Job\nSome travel\nRegular use of computer\nWhat We Offer You\nAt HUB International, we are invested in your success - both inside and outside of work. Apply today.\nThe expected salary range for this position is $38.46/hr to $53.85/hr and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
