We work closely with Meta's teams on new WhatsApp capabilities such as Coexistence and WhatsApp Calling.\nThe role\nWe're looking for an Intern Product Designer to join our Design Chapter and help shape how companies automate customer support with AI agents and human agents working together.\nThis is a part-time, fully remote internship (Spain) for final-year students who can sign an internship agreement (convenio de prácticas) with their school, academy or university.\nWhat you'll do\nDesign features with a PM and engineers, from understanding the problem to shipping.\nPrototype fast with AI tools (Claude, Figma Make or Code layers or similar) to explore ideas and test them early.\nUse our design system in Figma and contribute to it.\nTake part in user interviews, usability tests and client calls to learn what people really need.\nHelp us find repetitive work in our design process and automate it with AI.\nShare your work openly in design critiques, ask for feedback and give it to others.\nRequirements\nWhat we're looking for\nStudies in Product Design, UX, Interaction Design, or equivalent.\nCurrently enrolled in studies that allow you to sign an internship agreement (convenio de prácticas).\nA portfolio with school, side or bootcamp projects is fine, as long as it shows how you think.\nAI first: AI is already part of how you work, from research and ideation to prototyping, writing or small bits of code.\nProficiency in Figma and understanding of design foundations: typography, color, layout, hierarchy.\nStrong soft skills: curious, proactive, open to feedback, not afraid to take ownership of your successes and your mistakes.\nClear communicator, empathic with users, stakeholders and peers.\nFluent in English and Spanish, written and spoken.\nBonus points if you're interested in conversational AI, have shipped something with AI prototyping or vibe-coding tools, or have worked with design systems or accessibility!\nBenefits\nWhy you'll love working with us\nPaid internship with mentorship from the Design Lead and senior designers in a supportive environment\nHands-on experience from day one, working on real projects across the whole product\nThe chance to do your final degree project (TFG) with us, if it aligns with your work here\nThe option of a longer internship, combining curricular and extracurricular hours\nFully remote policy and flexible schedule: we trust you to get the work done\nA 200€ budget for Learning & Development\nA multicultural, English-first team: amazing people from all over the world, with different cultures, experiences and knowledge\nIf you're excited about designing AI-driven experiences and growing your product design career in a friendly, forward-thinking team, apply now with your portfolio.
