This is a social-first role: your primary scope is developing platform-native content that captures Huda Beauty’s rhythm, pace, and visual identity, consistently on brief and on time. You’ll work closely with the Head of Post Production and cross-functional teams across Creative, Social, and Production.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nSocial Content (Primary Focus)\nProduce fast-turnaround, platform-optimized video content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms - reels, stories, tutorials, UGC-style edits, and product launches. \nTranslate briefs into polished edits that feel native to the platform and true to the Huda Beauty brand aesthetic: pace, rhythm, sound, and color. \nDevelop a strong instinct for what performs, staying on top of trends, platform behavior, and audience expectations within the beauty space. \nWork at speed without sacrificing quality; manage simultaneous edits across multiple formats and timelines. \nCollaborate closely with the Social and Creative teams to align edits with campaign direction and publishing schedules. \nPost Production & Craft\nExecute polished edits with strong attention to detail and sound: music selection and pacing - and motion graphics where required. \nEnsure all deliverables meet Huda Beauty’s brand standards across resolution, format, and platform specs. \nMaintain organized project files, asset libraries, and export pipelines within the team’s workflow. \nContribute to the refinement of the team’s editing style guide and post-production workflows. \nAI\nWorking knowledge of AI-assisted editing tools is expected, whether for efficiency, ideation, or workflow enhancement. \nProactively explore and flag emerging AI tools relevant to post production and content creation. \nRequirements\n1-2 years of professional video editing experience, with a strong and demonstrable focus on social content. \nWorking proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; additional fluency in After Effects. \nDeep understanding of social platform formats, specs, and content trends, particularly Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. \nAbility to edit at pace across multiple concurrent projects while maintaining high attention to detail. \nStrong ear for sound: music selection and audio pacing, and a working grasp of motion graphics. \nWorking knowledge of AI editing tools. \nExcellent communication skills and a collaborative working style. \nHigh degree of accountability and ownership. \nPrevious experience working in a post-production house, agency, or in-house brand. \nPrevious experience editing content for a beauty, lifestyle, or consumer brand. \nA portfolio or showreel is required to be considered for this role.
