This individual will report to the Director of Finance and assist in a multitude of accounts receivable activities, including, but not limited to, weekly hotel restaurant billing, weekly/month end close processes for our catering division, supporting restaurant private dining payment administration, monthly house account reconciliation, other misc. billings and analyzing and reporting related information. \nPay: $20-$26/hr\nKey Responsibilities:\nCreating invoices and applying payments in our accounting system for the following:\nRestaurants that are located within a hotel property\n\nCatering events\n\nHouse account billings\n\nOther misc. billable items\n\nSupporting the private dining operations of the restaurants by\nSetting up the company in a guest’s AP system to be able to pay a deposit, providing W-9’s, and wire payment advice\n\nMaking approved refunds in the private dining software and booking general journal entries as needed\n\nMonitoring centralized email inbox for customer communication\n\nRunning various general ledger detail records and supporting Catering team management and operational directors.\nMonitoring aging reports and following up with the appropriate parties on overdue or past-due invoices\nMaintaining Catering and Accounts Receivable general ledger reconciliations\nResearching and resolving billing discrepancies, payment mismatches, or disputed charges\nMaintaining clean general ledgers, customer files and deposit logs\nPerforming other duties as assigned.\nThe right candidate for this position will share our passion for delivering genuine hospitality along with these additional qualifications:\nAssociate or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field or 2+ years of general bookkeeping, billing, or basic accounting support experience\nStrong communication, organization, and analytical skills\nStrong attention to detail\nProficient in Microsoft Office suite or willingness to learn\nExcel knowledge including filtering, sorting, pivot tables and vlookups a plus\nPrevious experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP a plus\nAbout Cameron Mitchell Restaurants:\nCMR is an independent, privately held restaurant group known for developing compelling dining concepts, offering outstanding cuisine complemented by genuine hospitality.
