The ideal candidate will have full-stack development experience, strong problem-solving skills, and an interest in AI-assisted software engineering.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Vue.js, and PrimeVue.\n\nBuild and support backend services, REST APIs, and reusable front-end components.\n\nWork across complex enterprise applications, multiple programming languages, and architectural patterns.\n\nApply AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot to improve productivity, testing, debugging, and code quality.\n\nCollaborate with architects and engineering teams to establish software design standards and best practices.\n\nParticipate in pair programming, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Extreme Programming (XP) practices.\n\nDevelop automated unit tests, acceptance tests, and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.\n\nTroubleshoot application and production issues using logs, metrics, and diagnostic tools.\n\nWork with relational and NoSQL databases, Redis, and RabbitMQ.\n\nSupport cloud-native applications running on Azure, Kubernetes, or Tanzu Application Service.\n\nProvide technical mentorship and contribute to architectural decisions and engineering improvements.\n\nCollaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, estimate development efforts, and deliver reliable software solutions.\n\nRequirements\nMinimum 8 years of professional software development experience; 8-10+ years preferred.\n\nStrong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.\n\nStrong front-end development experience using Vue.js and PrimeVue.\n\nFull-stack development experience with backend services, APIs, and modern user interfaces.\n\nExperience developing and troubleshooting complex enterprise applications.\n\nKnowledge of cloud-native application development and software architecture principles.\n\nExperience using AI-assisted development tools in professional software engineering workflows.\n\nExperience with Git, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.\n\nStrong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to work across large codebases and multiple technologies.\n\nExperience providing technical guidance or mentoring other engineers.\n\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\n\nAbility to work in a hybrid environment in Cincinnati, Ohio, with two days onsite per week.\n\nMust not require employment sponsorship during the contract.
