This role is primarily focused on hands on software engineering, with additional responsibility for translating requirements into technical solutions and supporting documentation.\nThe ideal candidate has strong experience with Salesforce development, Apex, Lightning components, APIs and enterprise integrations, along with solid software engineering fundamentals and experience working in Agile environments.\nWhat you'll be doing.\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex and Lightning components.\nBuild and support integrations between Salesforce and external or enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs and common integration patterns.\nSupport the Salesforce Marketing Cloud migration and CheckMarket integration from a technical development perspective.\nDevelop solutions for capabilities such as survey lookup, PDF generation, and user management.\nTranslate business requirements into technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and implementation tasks.\nTroubleshoot, debug, test, and optimize Salesforce applications and integrations.\nParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, refinement, code reviews, and technical discussions.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and integration documentation.\nCollaborate with business, product, and technical teams to clarify requirements and define effective technical solutions.\nWork independently, prioritize tasks, identify risks, and deliver within the scope and timeline of a freelance engagement.\nWhat we'd like to see.\n5+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong hands-on experience developing and integrating Salesforce solutions.\nStrong experience with Salesforce development, Apex, Lightning components, and Salesforce APIs/integrations.\nExperience integrating Salesforce with external and enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs.\nSolid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, debugging, testing, version control, and scalable application development.\nExperience supporting Salesforce Marketing Cloud migrations and/or enterprise Salesforce integration projects.\nExperience with Jira and Agile/Scrum methodologies.\nAbility to translate requirements into technical solutions, user stories, and acceptance criteria.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nExperience creating and maintaining technical and API documentation.\nAbility to work autonomously and effectively within a defined freelance engagement.\nNice to have: Experience with CheckMarket, survey platforms, PDF generation, or user-management solutions.\nImportant Considerations\nStart Date: October 5, 2026\nEnd Date: December 4, 2026\nContract Type: Freelance\nLocation: Remote within Colombia\nEquipment: You will use your own computer and equipment.\nIf the selected candidate holds a degree in Engineering or a related profession, they must present their professional license.
