monitoring platforms.\nManage alert triage processes, investigation workflows, and escalation procedures.\nAnalyze security alerts generated from:\nSIEM platforms\nEDR/XDR solutions\nNetwork security tools\nCloud security monitoring tools\nIdentify indicators of compromise (IOCs) and suspicious activities across systems.\nLead initial investigation and containment of cybersecurity incidents.\nEscalate high-severity incidents to the Deputy CISO and incident response team.\nMaintain incident documentation, investigation records, and root-cause analysis reports.\nDevelop and maintain SOC playbooks for common attack scenarios, including:\nPhishing attacks\nMalware infections\nAccount compromise\nInsider threats\nDistributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks\nUtilize threat intelligence feeds to improve detection capabilities.\nUpdate SIEM correlation rules and alert thresholds to reduce false positives and improve detection.\nEnsure monitoring coverage across critical infrastructure including:\nCore banking systems\nDigital banking platforms\nPayment systems\nCloud infrastructure\nNetwork devices\nEndpoint security tools\nPrepare SOC operational reports including:\nSecurity incidents summary\nThreat trends analysis\nFalse positive rates\nIncident response time metrics\nSupport continuous improvement of SOC operations and threat detection processes.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Information Technology. \n5-8 years of experience in cybersecurity operations.\nMinimum 2-3 years of experience working in a SOC environment.\nHands-on experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, threat monitoring, and incident response tools.\nExperience in banking, fintech, or financial services environments
