Our Accounting and Finance Career Program is an accelerated leadership development program designed to provide top college graduates with a path toward key business leadership roles. This program offers a unique opportunity to rotate through various financial functions, receive mentorship from experienced finance professionals, and develop the skills needed to excel in a career at Huhtamaki. This role will add considerable value to the business and allow for regular interactions with our SVP of Finance and IT, Controllers and our Global financial reporting team in Finland.\nProgram Structure:\nDuration: 12-18 months training\nRotations: 2-3 rotations across different commercial functions\nTraining: Comprehensive onboarding and continuous professional development\nMentorship: Pairing with senior sales/product mgmt.. leaders and mentors\nEvaluation: Regular performance reviews and feedback sessions\nEssential Functions\nAcclimate to Huhtamaki, products, and processes.\nPartner with cross-functional business leaders to assist on strategic projects\nIdentify areas to improve and streamline processes\nAnalyze current and past trends including insights into all areas of revenue, cost of sales, working capital and capital expenditures\nMonitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance\nPrepare reports based on financial data, including participation in preparation of monthly financial analysis of North America results\nCreate variance analysis reports and financial models\nSupport Finance leadership team with in depth analysis and preparation of presentations\nProduce ad-hoc analysis and reporting as requested\nAll other duties assigned by management\nJob Qualifications\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance\nStrong aptitude in analytics, problem solving, interpersonal skills, motivation to succeed\nComfortable working with numbers & large amounts of data via databases and spreadsheets\nGood communication and consensus building skills\nCompetence with Microsoft Office applications and quick-witted with data management software\nAbility to communicate effectively with management\nDemonstrated leadership ability\nRelocation and an eagerness to develop leadership competencies at other U.S. locations is required (geographic relocation is required)Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn\nAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environment\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nEnvironment\n4 Days a week onsite and 1 day remote (optional).
