It’severy one of us workingtogether.\nWe offer a place where you can feel safe, be supported, and make an impact so we can all focus on the future together.\nEssential Functions\nThis list is not all encompassing and other duties may be assigned.\nMonitors the safety environment of the workplace and acts to eliminate unsafe conditions, practices, equipment, and personnel.\nEnforces GMPs and all company policies and procedures.\nConfers with management personnel to establish production and quality standards.\nReviews new products and provides feedback via the Commercialization process.\nConsults with engineering personnel, relative to changes to equipment or materials, to increase production throughput, reduce costs, and/or improve the quality of products.\nCoordinates production activities with Maintenance, Tooling, Materials, and QA activities to generate maximum quality production with efficient utilization of materials, equipment, and manpower. Leads cross functional meetings.\nRevises production schedules and priorities to accommodate unforeseen events relating to raw materials, equipment, sales demands, personnel, weather, etc.\nMonitors Production employees with regards to staffing levels, skill levels, training requirements, safety, demonstrated performance, and acts to continuously improve the quality and ability of the work force.\nCompiles, stores, retrieves, and analyzes production related data.\nGenerates reports as needed.\nCompletes all reviews for direct reports and oversees the review process for all Team Members in the department.\nOversees the disciplinary process for all direct report and overall department.\nLeads improvement projects and be a pillar(s) leader in production-based programs.\nJob Qualifications\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nRequired\nCommunication/Language Skills\nAbility to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures.\nAbility to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. \nAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.\nAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management. \nMust possess good inter-personal skills. \nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. \nAbility to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.\nAbility to identify and define problems involving several concrete variables in a standardized situation.\nAbility to research information, collect and analyze data, draw valid conclusions, and make recommendations and plans of action.\nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.\nKnowledge of continuous improvement programs like: World Class Manufacturing, Toyota Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, etc.\nAbility to give/receive feedback and progressively document, when necessary, both positive and constructive, on performance related issues.\nPreferred\nBachelor’s degree in a technical field highly preferred; Seven (7)+ years related experience in manufacturing highly preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nProduction experience in folding carton or other related industries preferred.\nExperience in managing production floor personnel preferred.\nEnvironment\nWill work in a well-lighted and clean manufacturing environment. Requires moderate sitting (50%), with occasional walking (25%) and standing (25%). You will use standard office equipment and digital tools. Requires twisting, stooping/bending, squatting/kneeling, climbing ladders and stairs. Requires occasional lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs. Requires reaching above, at and below shoulder level. Visual requirements include near/far acuity, depth perception and color vision.You must adhere to personal food safety standards as well as standard safety equipment including, but not limited to: Safety shoes, hair/beard net, safety glasses and hearing protection.
