It’severy one of us workingtogether.\nWe offer a place where you can feel safe, be supported, and make an impact so we can all focus on the future together.\nYour opportunity\nWe’re currently looking for a Production Supervisor at our Facility in Waterville, ME.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nSupervises all personnel and operations on the shift.\nMaintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.\nReports any process and equipment problems. \nCalls the Maintenance Supervisor on evenings and weekends for assistance with problems.\nVerifies that discharges from the plant are within limits.\nTrains, upgrades, evaluates, and reviews chemical operators.\nOrganizes work for smooth operations.\nEnsures that established policies, rules and regulations, and procedures are followed.\nVerifies correct identification, weights, and warehousing of products.\nDistributes plant status reports to the next-shift Foreman and General Foreman.\nSupervises loading and unloading of trucks and verifies that paperwork is correctly signed.\nResponsible for all processes, equipment, employees, safety, and housekeeping of the area and meeting production quality and quantity standards on the shift.\nCompletes run sheets.\nTroubleshoots problems.\nWhat you’ll bring to the role\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:\nRequires overall knowledge of reactors, instruments, dryers, centrifuges, filters, pumps, forklifts, steam baths, temperature recorders, scales, banding machines, standard test equipment, and plant processes.\nValues similar to ours: Care, Dare and Deliver\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to work in indoor and outdoor industrial environments, including exposure to all weather conditions, heights, and confined spaces.\nAbility to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).\nMuat be able to work 12- hours, rotating shift schedule (days/nights)\nOvertime, nights, holidays, and weekend work may be required based on plant needs and equipment demands.\nVisual acuity (corrected) to read directions and prints and to inspect machine parts, product to ensure parts meet specifications.\nManual dexterity is sufficient to operate machinery for precision work.\nPhysical ability to do work requiring frequent stooping, standing, squatting, bending, crawling, twisting, and lifting of 50 pounds.\nWhat we offer in return\nOur products are only as good as the people we hire, so we make sure to hire the best and treat them accordingly.
