This role serves as a central resource for store operations, expense management, inventory processes, systems access, and operational communications.\nWorking closely with the Vice President of Retail, District Managers, Store Managers, and internal departments, the Retail Operations Manager ensures stores have the tools, resources, and processes necessary to operate effectively. This position plays a key role in developing and maintaining operational procedures, monitoring compliance, supporting new store openings, and identifying opportunities to improve retail efficiency and performance.\nKey Responsibilities\nRetail Operations & Administrative Support\nMonitor store payroll utilization and analyze labor usage against established budgets and expectations. Communicate overages and trends to District Managers and the Vice President of Retail.\nManage store supply ordering, including office supplies, cleaning supplies, shopping bags, hangers, gift cards, and other operational necessities.\nCoordinate travel arrangements for Store Managers and retail employees supporting new store openings, temporary staffing coverage, and other operational needs.\nManage store operating hours across Google, RetailNext, and internal platforms, communicating changes to E-commerce and other relevant departments.\nMaintain accurate store operating hours within RetailNext to ensure traffic counters are functioning and capturing accurate data.\nCoordinate monthly reporting of gift-with-purchase (GWP) redemptions and labor reallocations to Accounting.\nExpense & Compliance Management\nReview and approve Ramp expenses and reimbursements for Store Managers and District Managers.\nMonitor spending patterns and escalate excessive, unexpected, or out-of-policy purchases to the Vice President of Retail.\nReview weekly store discount reports, identify potential policy violations, and communicate concerns to District Managers and the Vice President of Retail.\nSupport consistent adherence to company policies, operational procedures, and financial controls across the retail network.\nSystems, Reporting & Sales Support\nCreate, maintain, and distribute daily sales goals for retail stores, ensuring goals are accurately loaded into 42 Technologies and The Hub.\nManage store promotional setup, including tiles, discount codes, and promotional configurations across retail systems.\nDevelop and distribute clear operational communications and instructions to ensure stores execute promotions consistently.\nManage employee access to retail systems, including 42 Technologies, RetailNext, Quill, and Workable.\nCoordinate account setup requests for FedEx, Ramp, and other operational platforms as needed.\nMaintain accurate and consistent store information across retail systems and internal reporting tools.\nInventory & Store Support\nCoordinate and oversee all-store physical inventory processes, including preparation, communication, execution, and follow-up.\nAssist stores with inventory transfers, including researching outstanding transfers, correcting discrepancies, and providing training on transfer procedures.\nSupport stores in resolving operational issues related to inventory management, receiving, and system accuracy.\nAssist with new store openings by coordinating operational supply orders, cash orders, shopping bags, and other necessary resources.\nProvide ongoing operational support to Store Managers and District Managers to ensure stores are equipped to operate efficiently.\nManaging maintenance concerns as needed\nProcess Development & Continuous Improvement\nDevelop, document, test, and maintain retail operational processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).\nIdentify opportunities to improve operational consistency, efficiency, and compliance across the retail network.\nCreate and maintain SOPs related to inventory management, damages, transfers, hiring, Shopify operations, and other retail processes.\nLead the implementation of new operational procedures, including coordinating training and communicating changes to retail teams.\nSupport the rollout of new systems, tools, and processes to ensure successful adoption across the retail organization.\nRequirements\nQualifications\n3-5 years of experience in retail operations, retail administration, or a related operational management role.\nExperience supporting multi-location retail operations preferred.\nStrong understanding of retail payroll administration, labor utilization, scheduling, and expense management.\nExperience with retail systems, inventory management, reporting tools, and operational technology.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and other business productivity tools.\nExperience developing, documenting, and implementing SOPs and operational processes.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.\nExcellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively
