This role plays a critical part in ensuring product availability, optimizing inventory, and supporting new product introductions while driving data-based decision-making across the supply chain.\nKey Responsibilities\nInventory Management\nMonitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess and obsolescence.\nAnalyze inventory turns, safety stock, and service levels.\nSupport cycle counts and inventory reconciliation efforts.\nRecommend actions to address shortages, slow-moving, or obsolete inventory.\nOrder Creation & Management\nCreate and manage purchase orders and/or production orders in ERP/MRP systems.\nTrack order status and coordinate with suppliers, production, and logistics teams to meet delivery requirements.\nResolve order discrepancies, delays, and supply constraints.\nEnsure accurate master data and planning parameters in the system.\nData Analysis & Reporting\nAnalyze supply chain data related to demand, inventory, production, and customer orders.\nDevelop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support supply chain performance.\nIdentify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement using data-driven insights.\nSupport management with ad-hoc analysis and recommendations.\nDemand Forecasting & Planning\nCreate and maintain demand forecasts based on historical data, customer demand, and market trends.\nCollaborate with Operations, Customer Service, Sales, and Finance to align forecasts with business plans.\nMonitor forecast accuracy and adjust planning assumptions as needed.\nSupport SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) processes.\nNew Product Introduction (NPI)\nSupport supply chain planning activities for new product launches.\nCoordinate with Engineering, Sales, and Operations to ensure material readiness and capacity alignment.\nSet up and maintain new items and planning parameters in ERP systems.\nMonitor initial demand and inventory performance post-launch.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.\n10 years of experience in supply chain planning, analysis, or related roles.\nStrong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, queries).\nExperience working with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Global Shop, SAP, Oracle, Sage).\nAbility to analyze complex data and translate it into actionable insights.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in manufacturing or distribution environments.\nKnowledge of forecasting methods and inventory optimization.\nExperience supporting S&OP processes.\nAPICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.\nKey Competencies\nAnalytical and problem-solving skills.\nAttention to detail and accuracy.\nStrong communication and cross-functional collaboration.\nWillingness to proactively engage team members to obtain needs.\nInquisitive mindset -
