The ideal candidate brings 1-3 years of hands-on experience with machine setup experience, a strong quality mindset, and the mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot process issues and keep production running efficiently and safely.\nKey Responsibilities\nSet up, program, and monitor molding machines and rubber presses (compression and transfer) throughout the production run.\nPerform mold and die changes, adjustments, and startups on both plastic injection and rubber press equipment.\nMonitor and adjust process parameters - temperature, pressure, cure time, and cycle time - to maintain part quality and production efficiency.\nInspect molded and pressed parts for defects, dimensional accuracy, and conformance to specifications.\nPerform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on molds, dies, and routine cleaning operations.\nAccurately document production data, downtime, scrap rates, and quality inspection results.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S standards.\nCollaborate with quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve process deviations and improve yield.\nFollow all company safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and PPE requirements.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational certification in plastics or rubber molding technology preferred.\nWorking knowledge of mold/die setup from any environment that may include compression, injection, or stamping presses.\nAbility to read blueprints and specifications, and to use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).\nBasic mechanical aptitude; familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics is a plus.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.\nPhysical and Environment Requirements\nAbility to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.\nRegularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 60lbs. This includes mold inserts, dies, tooling, material bags.\nUse hand and power tools with repetitive grasping and find finger dexterity\nHave close vision, color perception, and depth perception adequate to read blueprints, gauges, and machine displays. \nAbility to work in a manufacturing plant environment with exposure to heat, noise, and moving machinery.\nTolerate exposure to heat, noise, vibration, fumes, and moving machinery; wear required PPE throughout shift. \nWe take care of our team.
