The Associate Director collaborates closely with senior leaders to implement technology solutions, drive project execution, and ensure Humana processes and standards are consistently followed.\nCore responsibilities include managing teams, executing strategic initiatives, and collaborating across functions to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business and regulatory requirements. The Associate Director will play a key role in delivery execution, monitoring progress against proforma, and maintaining compliance with Humana's technical and security standards. Upholding Humana values-Caring, Curious, and Committed-is essential in this role, both in team leadership and cross-functional partnerships.\nStrategic & Technical Support\nCollaborate with leaders to support Member platform architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and objectives.\nAssist in defining integration approaches for enrollment, ID Cards, and member data systems.\nSupport modernization projects, including API design, cloud adoption, and data interoperability.\nPromote adherence to Humana North Star Architecture principles within Member domains.\nInnovation & Modernization\nParticipate in platform improvement efforts through adoption of emerging technologies (e.g., cloud-native, AI/ML).\nEncourage best practices in Agile delivery, DevOps, and API development.\nIntegration Support\nSupport integration across internal systems and external partners.\nAssist in implementing data exchange and interoperability standards.\nBusiness Partnership & Financial Stewardship\nWork closely with Product Owners, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet regulatory and business needs.\nHelp translate business requirements into technical strategies and roadmaps.\nAssist with budget tracking, business use cases, and financial modeling to support technology investments.\nCompliance & Security\nSupport controls for data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.\nPromote adherence to Humana technical and security standards.\nLeadership & Talent Development\nManage and develop a team of technology professionals, encouraging innovation, accountability, and improvement.\nSupport representation of Member platforms in relevant strategic forums.\nA successful Candidate woul d:\nHave familiarity with Humana platforms and enterprise API management.\nDemonstrated experience with budgeting, business case support, and financial modeling.\nDemonstrate delivery of IT projects in regulated environments.\nDemonstrate strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.\nHave knowledge of Humana North Star framework, cloud-based architecture, and API frameworks.\nHave an understanding of insurance products, benefits administration, and healthcare industry standards.\nDemonstrate awareness of Humana technical and security standards and software delivery practices.\nUse your skills to make an impact\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technology field\n3+ years of progressive IT experience, including participation in large technology projects.\n2 + years of formal leadership experience leading associate teams of 3 or more individuals\nPrevious experience with vendor management and executing contract resources.\nDemonstrated financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, business case development, and proforma creation.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster's degree\nAdditional information\nThis role will report to an Associate Vice President.\nThis role is only for Applicants that reside in Louisville, KY.\nThis role will be hybrid office 3 days per week from the specified locations.\nThe person hired for this position will have 6-8 direct reports.\nScheduled Weekly Hours\n40Pay Range\nThe compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
