You will provide oversight of project management responsibilities, delivery governance, resource planning, risk management, partner communication, and overall program performance.The Director ensures that the Director aligns programs to organizational priorities, delivers them with disciplined execution, and designs them to achieve measurable operational, financial, customer, or business outcomes.\n1. Program Delivery Leadership\nDevelop successful oversight for successful execution and delivery of the IN LTSS Program.\nAlign programs and projects in focus with business strategy, operational goals, and leadership priorities.\nTranslate strategic goals into applicable roadmaps, milestones, and delivery plans.\nMonitor overall program health, including scope, timeline, budget, risks, dependencies, and benefits realization.\nGuide accountability across teams to ensure commitments are met.\n2. Project Management Oversight\nProvide leadership and oversight to individuals managing projects and LTSS program deliverables.\nEstablish project management standards, tools, templates, and reporting practices.\nEnsure projects have clear charters, business cases, timelines, owners, milestones, and success measures.\nReview project plans and status updates to identify risks, delays, resource constraints, or scope issues.\nSupport prioritization and sequencing of projects across the portfolio.\nEnsure teams are managing:ScopeScheduleBudgetRisks and issuesDependenciesStakeholder engagementChange controlCommunication plans\n3. Governance and Portfolio Management\nMaintain IN LTSS program governance structures, including steering committees, executive updates, and decision forums.\nFacilitate regular reviews to assess progress, remove barriers, and make timely decisions.\nCreate visibility into portfolio performance through dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting.\nEnsure priority programs follow appropriate approval, escalation, and change management processes.\nHelp leadership evaluate tradeoffs related to priority, capacity, investment, and risk.\n4. Partner and Executive Communication\nServe as an important liaison between executive sponsors, business leaders, project teams, and operational partners.\nCommunicate status, risks, decisions, and outcomes.\nPrepare executive-level presentations and updates.\nSet expectations with stakeholders regarding timelines, dependencies, impacts, and required decisions.\nBuild relationships across departments to support agreement and adoption.\n5. Risk, Issue, and Dependency Management\nIdentify issues, and dependencies across projects.\nEnsure mitigation plans are developed .\nEscalate critical risks or decisions to senior leadership when needed.\nResolve barriers that impact execution.\nMaintain a focus on delivery discipline and operational readiness.\n6. Resource and Capacity Planning\nPartner with functional leaders to assess resource needs and capacity constraints.\nSupport workforce planning related to program delivery needs.\nEngage the right teams and subject matter experts at the right time.\nIdentify gaps in skills, staffing or tools that may affect delivery.\nRecommend adjustments to priorities or timelines based on available capacity.\n7. Process Improvement and Operational Excellence\nIdentify opportunities to improve program delivery methods, project management, and operational execution.\nStandardize repeatable processes for planning, tracking, reporting, and lessons learned.\nPromote continuous improvement, accountability, and disciplined execution.\nSupport change management and adoption of new tools, or ways of working.\nLead post-implementation reviews to capture outcomes, benefits, and improvement opportunities.\n8. Team Leadership and Development\nLead staff and delivery talent.\nBuild a delivery culture focused on ownership, transparency, collaboration, and results.\nProvide performance feedback, mentoring, and professional development support.\nSet clear expectations for delivery teams and for results.\nUse your skills to make an impact\nRequired Qualifications\nMaster's degree in business administration or a related field\n8 or more years of operational, technical and leadership experience especially in project management\n5 or more years of experience in health care environment/managed care\nExperienced in planning, execution, change management, partner agreement and risk mitigation practices\nFinancial and budget awareness\nExperienced in data-driven decision-making\nDevelop executive dashboards demonstrating progress and success of projects and high-level deliverables\nStrong relationship building skills and expertise in influencing areas without direct authority\nMust be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving and consumer experiences\nMust reside in Indiana or be commutable to the Indianapolis office periodically as needed\nPreferred Qualifications\nProject Management Professional or Six Sigma certification a plus\nStrong analytical skills\nWork at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.
