The position serves as the primary leader responsible for scaling and modernizing Humana's EHR data acquisition strategy.The Data Acquisition Director provides strategic and operational leadership for Humana's EHR data acquisition portfolio. The role owns portfolio vision, investment planning, roadmap governance, and execution oversight across products that support the acquisition, exchange, and utilization of provider and clinical data. This leader manages Product Managers and Product Owners responsible for medical records, supplemental data, appointment data, ADT feeds, and future interoperability capabilities.\nThe Director partners with vendor management, implementation teams, technology organizations, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth, improve data acquisition effectiveness, and expand Humana's access to clinical information through EHR partnerships. Responsibilities include portfolio prioritization, strategic planning, product performance management, talent development, and executive communication. The role exercises significant independent judgment while balancing long-term strategy with operational execution and business outcomes\nKey Responsibilities\nDefine and execute the Data Acquisition portfolio strategy\nLead Product Managers and Product Owners within the portfolio\nEstablish multi-year roadmap and investment priorities\nDrive expansion of clinical and provider data acquisition capabilities\nPartner with EHR vendors to support interoperability and data exchange opportunities\nMonitor portfolio performance, adoption, utilization, and business outcomes\nDevelop product management capabilities and talent within the organization\nEvaluate emerging technologies, vendor capabilities, and market opportunities\nDrive alignment between enterprise priorities and portfolio investments\nProvide executive updates, recommendations, and strategic direction for the data portfolio\nUse your skills to make an impact\nRequired Qualifications\n8+ years of experience in product management, healthcare technology, interoperability, data acquisition, or related fields\n3+ years of people leadership experience\nExperience leading product portfolios and multi-year roadmap development\nExperience developing business cases and investment recommendations\nStrong stakeholder management and executive communication skills\nExperience leading cross-functional teams to influence organizational priorities\nKnowledge of healthcare data exchange, interoperability, and provider workflows\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree\nExperience working with EHR vendors including Epic, Oracle Health, athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, Veradigm, or similar platforms\nExperience managing clinical data acquisition, interoperability, or health information exchange products\nFamiliarity with value-based care, risk adjustment, quality improvement, and population health initiatives\nStrong analytical and financial acumen\nAdditional Information\nThis role is considered \"remote/work at home\" and can be based anywhere in the United States.\nThe expected start date for this role is targeted for January 2027.\nWork at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.
