Each project manager role will be anchored to projects within a key cybersecurity domain or, in some cases, to initiatives requiring partnership across multiple cybersecurity domains, such as Identity Security, Threat Management, Security Operations, Product Security, Governance, Risk & Compliance, Network Security, Cloud Security, and Emerging Technologies.The Cybersecurity Project Manager serves as a trusted delivery leader who translates strategy into execution, aligns stakeholders around shared outcomes, manages risks and dependencies, and ensures initiatives are delivered predictably and transparently. This individual operates across technical and business teams, partnering with cybersecurity leaders, architects, engineers, product teams, vendors, and executives to drive successful outcomes.\nSuccess in this role extends beyond delivering scope on time and within budget. The Cybersecurity Project Manager connects cybersecurity strategy to execution and ensures initiatives achieve their intended cybersecurity outcomes, such as risk reduction, control coverage, remediation, adoption, resilience, or capability maturity.\nUse your skills to make an impact\nKey Responsibilities\nLead end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity initiatives from planning through implementation and operational transition.\nDevelop and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, assumptions, decisions, and action items.\nCoordinate delivery across cybersecurity teams, technology organizations, business stakeholders, vendors, and external partners.\nDrive execution of initiatives related to areas such as Identity & Access Management, Privileged Access Management, Security Operations, Threat Detection & Response, Network Security, Application Security, Cloud Security, AI Security, Governance, Risk & Compliance, and Security Architecture.\nFacilitate planning sessions, stakeholder reviews, executive updates, governance forums, and project steering meetings.\nIdentify delivery risks, resource constraints, cross-team dependencies, and schedule impacts; develop mitigation and response plans.\nEstablish and maintain project reporting that provides clear visibility into progress, risks, decisions, milestones, and business outcomes.\nExperience developing status reporting and stakeholder communications, including leadership-level communications.\nPartner with cybersecurity leaders to align project execution with strategic objectives, capability roadmaps, and organizational priorities.\nManage project scope, goals, and timeline while ensuring alignment with approved objectives.\nPartner with portfolio management to maintain project budgets and forecasts, including resource allocations and time tracking for the project.\nDrive accountability for commitments and facilitate timely resolution of issues and blockers.\nSupport vendor engagements, contract deliverables, procurement activities, and implementation planning when applicable.\nEnsure delivery artifacts, documentation, governance requirements, and project controls are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.\nPromote consistency in project delivery practices while adapting approaches to Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery models as needed.\nLead project teams without direct authority.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business, Engineering, or a related field.\n2-5 years of project management experience leading projects in technology, cybersecurity, risk management, or related disciplines.\nDemonstrated experience managing initiatives involving multiple teams, stakeholders, and cross-functional dependencies.\nExperience delivering projects in one or more cybersecurity domains such as Identity Security, Security Operations, Incident Response, Cloud Security, Network Security, Cyber Risk, Governance, Product Security, Application Security, or Security Engineering.\nStrong knowledge of project management disciplines including planning, risk management, dependency management, stakeholder engagement, governance, and reporting.\nExperience developing executive-level communications, status reporting, and decision-support materials.\nProven ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment in matrixed organizations.\nExperience managing project financials, budgets, forecasts, vendor engagements, or investment-funded initiatives.\nStrong written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills.\nAbility to operate effectively in a matrixed environment with changing priorities.\nFluency in ServiceNow Project Portfolio Management (PPM) for project financial management, forecasting, resource allocation, and time tracking.\nPreferred Qualifications\nProject Management Professional (PMP), PMI-ACP, or equivalent.\nExperience working within Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery environments.\nExperience with enterprise delivery and planning tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Jira Align, or similar platforms.\nFamiliarity with cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory requirements such as NIST, CIS Controls, Zero Trust, HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC, PCI, or related standards.\nUnderstanding of cybersecurity technologies and concepts including identity management, threat detection, vulnerability management, cloud security, incident response, security governance, and security architecture.\nWork at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.
