This individual will be responsible for designing scalable automation solutions leveraging technologies such as Selenium, Playwright, REST Assured , Tricentis Tosca, Azure DevOps (ADO), qTest, API automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-powered testing agents, while enabling delivery teams to achieve greater speed, reliability, and quality.\nThis role functions as a strategic technical advisor and enterprise architect, ensuring consistent automation practices, reusable assets, governance standards, and quality engineering excellence across Humana's technology landscape.\nKey Responsibilities\nEnterprise Automation Strategy & Architecture\nDefine and execute Humana's enterprise automation architecture strategy and roadmap.\nEstablish reusable enterprise automation frameworks supporting web, mobile, API, integration, and end-to-end testing.\nCreate standards, reference architectures, patterns, and best practices for quality engineering and automation across all business segments.\nEvaluate emerging automation technologies and AI-driven testing solutions to continuously improve engineering effectiveness.\nServe as the enterprise automation subject matter expert for modern quality engineering practices.\nAutomation Framework Engineering & Platform Enablement\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using technologies including Selenium, Playwright, Tricentis Tosca, REST Assured, Cypress, Appium, and related tools.\nEstablish automation architecture patterns that support enterprise-scale testing across cloud-native, microservices, API-first, and distributed systems.\nCreate reusable automation accelerators, libraries, components, templates, and testing utilities.\nLead integration of automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and other enterprise delivery platforms.\nDrive continuous improvement of automation reliability, maintainability, performance, and execution efficiency.\nSupport programs\nAI-Powered Quality Engineering & Intelligent Testing\nDefine and implement AI-enabled testing strategies, tools, and practices across the organization.\nLead development and adoption of AI-based testing agents capable of test generation, self-healing automation, defect prediction, risk-based testing, and intelligent test execution.\nEvaluate emerging Generative AI technologies and intelligent automation platforms for quality engineering use cases.\nEstablish frameworks for AI-assisted test design, automated script generation, and test maintenance optimization.\nPartner with engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into quality engineering workflows and delivery pipelines.\nDrive innovation through intelligent automation and predictive quality analytics.\nEnterprise Consulting & Architecture Leadership\nProvide architecture guidance and technical leadership to Quality Engineering and engineering teams across Humana business segments.\nCollaborate with solution architects, engineers, platform teams, and product delivery organizations to define automation strategies aligned with business goals.\nConduct automation architecture reviews and provide recommendations for modernization and optimization.\nSupport large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives involving automation, DevOps, cloud migration, and digital modernization.\nPartner with through automation-first delivery practices.\nUse your skills to make an impact\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.\n10+ years of software quality engineering, automation engineering, SDET, or software engineering experience.\n8+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise automation frameworks.\nDeep expertise with automation technologies including: \nSelenium, Playwright, Tricentis Tosca, Cypress, Appium, API Automation frameworks\nExtensive experience with Azure DevOps (ADO), qTest, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.\nStrong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or similar.\nExperience implementing automation solutions for web, API, microservices, cloud-native, and distributed applications.\nStrong understanding of Agile, DevOps, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, and Continuous Delivery practices.\nExcellent communication, leadership, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in healthcare, insurance, financial services, or other highly regulated
