This role facilitates requirement-gathering discussions, documents business and functional requirements, develops report specifications, defines project scope, tracks deliverables, manages timelines, and communicates project status, risks, issues, and dependencies to stakeholders.\nThis role integrates business knowledge and data expertise to ensure reporting solutions align with operational goals and stakeholder expectations. Responsibilities include analyzing business processes, workflows, data needs, reporting outputs, and system capabilities to identify gaps, recommend improvements, and support scalable, repeatable reporting solutions.\nThe Senior Business Intelligence Engineer may coordinate cross-functional project activities, support project planning, maintain action item logs, document decisions, facilitate stakeholder meetings, assist with user acceptance testing, validate report outputs, and support implementation readiness and change management activities.\nIn support of reporting and analytics needs, this role works with data from multiple sources to define required data elements, validate data quality, reconcile outputs, create or maintain dashboards, support recurring reports, and ensure reporting solutions provide accurate, meaningful, and actionable information for business users.\nThe Senior Business Intelligence Engineer begins to influence department strategy by identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes, strengthen governance, increase automation, enhance stakeholder engagement, and improve the delivery of business intelligence solutions.
