This role is responsible for enabling enterprise-scale software delivery through modern CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes platforms, GitOps practices, automation, and developer self-service capabilities.The engineer will provide dedicated ownership of the JFrog platform ecosystem (Artifactory, Xray, and Curation) supporting both enterprise and Humana Military initiatives, with a focus on software supply chain security, artifact governance, vulnerability management, and regulatory compliance. As a subject matter expert for JFrog, Argo CD, SonarQube, and LaunchDarkly, this role will drive platform modernization, security remediation, operational excellence, and developer productivity while ensuring reliable and scalable platform services across the organization.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, build, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure on Azure and GCP.\nDevelop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Harness, and GitOps practices.\nDeploy and manage Kubernetes platforms (AKS, GKE, OpenShift).\nOwn and administer enterprise DevOps platforms including JFrog Artifactory, Xray, Curation, Argo CD, SonarQube, and LaunchDarkly.\nSupport Humana Military and enterprise teams through software supply chain security, artifact governance, and platform operations.\nImplement vulnerability management, dependency governance, and secure software delivery practices.\nDesign and support feature flag management and progressive delivery capabilities using LaunchDarkly.\nDevelop automation and self-service solutions using PowerShell, Bash, Python, and AI-assisted engineering tools.\nEnsure HIPAA, SOC2, and regulatory compliance across DevOps platforms and processes.\nConfigure and support enterprise build agents and runners across Linux, Windows, and GitHub Runner environments.\nProvide L3 support, incident response, root cause analysis, and on-call support for critical platform services.\nCreate engineering standards, documentation, reusable templates, and developer enablement resources while participating in Agile delivery practices.\nUse your skills to make an impact\nRequired Qualifications\nExperience\n7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, platform engineering, or operations.\n5+ years of hands-on DevOps engineering experience.\nExperience designing and supporting cloud infrastructure on Azure and GCP.\nStrong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).\nExperience building and managing CI/CD platforms using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Harness, and GitOps practices.\nHands-on experience with Kubernetes platforms including AKS, GKE, and OpenShift.\nExperience administering and supporting enterprise DevOps platforms including JFrog Artifactory, Xray, Curation, Argo CD, SonarQube, and LaunchDarkly.\nExperience implementing software supply chain security, dependency governance, vulnerability remediation, and secure software delivery practices.\nStrong Linux/Unix administration and Windows administration experience.\nAdvanced scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, and Python.\nExperience with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar AI-assisted development tools.\nFamiliarity with monitoring, observability, and platform reliability practices.\nExperience supporting enterprise-scale DevOps platforms and developer enablement initiatives.\nExperience operating within HIPAA, SOC2, or other regulated compliance environments.\nOur Department of Defense contract requires U.S. citizenship for this position.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting large-scale enterprise DevOps platforms.\nExperience leading enterprise DevOps platform modernization, onboarding, adoption, and governance initiatives.\nFamiliarity with DORA metrics and DevOps models.\nExperience integrating automated testing, security scanning, and compliance controls into CI/CD pipelines.\nExperience supporting healthcare technology platforms or other highly regulated industries.\nAzure, GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, or related cloud certifications.\nExperience with software supply chain security and governance frameworks.\nHealthcare industry experience preferred.\nAdditional Information:\nLimited Geography Remote - This is a remote position but located within a specific geography.\nTo ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:\nAt minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.\nHumana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.\nWork from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.\nTravel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.\nWork at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.
