You will shape the platform our clinical products run on, the data ecosystem the business depends on, and the team that delivers both.\nThis is a build role with significant ownership of architecture, engineering standards, technology choices and team growth. You will modernise the data platform and integrations while establishing a reliable, well-governed way of working.\nOur Environment\nAWS is our primary cloud and Snowflake our analytical platform. The environment includes an established data warehouse, clinical data integrations, EHR, laboratory and genomic feeds, financial systems, Power BI and SAS. We are moving towards stronger Infrastructure as Code, automation, observability and standards-based integrations.\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead and grow the Platform & Data team, including data engineering, data quality and DevOps/reliability capabilities.\nOwn the target architecture and operating model for infrastructure, environments and deployment platforms.\nDrive platform reliability through monitoring, alerting, incident management, automation and Infrastructure as Code.\nLead modernisation of the data warehouse, pipelines and integrations across clinical and corporate systems.\nEstablish automated data quality, governance and reliable self-service data capabilities.\nEmbed security, privacy and compliance into platform and data engineering, including GDPR, GxP and 21 CFR Part 11 where applicable.\nOwn platform and data costs and manage external vendors or implementation partners where needed.\nPartner with Product, Clinical Operations, Finance, Quality, Security and the CTO organisation to turn business needs into clear platform priorities.\nWhat We’re Looking For\n10+ years of experience in platform, infrastructure or data engineering, including 3+ years leading engineers with production-reliability accountability.\nA strong track record of hiring, developing and leading senior engineering teams.\nExperience owning a data platform or warehouse modernization end to end.\nHands-on understanding of cloud architecture, CI/CD, automated deployment and Infrastructure as Code in production.\nExperience establishing reliability practices, including service levels, monitoring, alerting and incident management.\nStrong understanding of security, access control, privacy and audit requirements.\nAbility to stabilize existing systems while building new capabilities in parallel.\nProfessional English; Polish is an advantage.\nNice to Have\nExperience in clinical research, healthcare, pharma or another regulated environment.\nAWS and Snowflake experience, including understanding of their cost models.\nKnowledge of FHIR, HL7 or CDISC.\nExperience with Power BI, SAS or comparable analytical platforms.\nExperience leading geographically distributed teams.\nWhy Join Humaneva\nYou will build a function rather than simply inherit one, with real influence over architecture, technology, standards and hiring.
