We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND-01 - our rapidly developed humanoid platform being deployed in real industrial environments - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.\nAbout the Role\nAs a Business Development Specialist, you will provide administrative, operational and coordination support to the Business Development team, ensuring smooth daily operations, effective customer communication and timely follow-up on commercial activities.\nWhat You'll Do\nBD Team Support: Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to Business Development Managers.\n\nCRM Management: Maintain accurate customer records, contacts, leads and opportunities in the CRM system.\n\nLead Management: Support lead research, initial qualification, allocation and follow-up activities, responses on email enquiries and monitor early submission forms.\n\nCustomer Coordination: Organise customer meetings, site visits, demonstrations and follow-up communications.\n\nCommercial Documentation: Coordinate NDAs, proposals, agreements and other business development documents.\n\nPipeline Support: Track opportunities, outstanding actions and customer engagement progress.\n\nReporting: Prepare regular BD activity reports, meeting summaries and updates for management.\n\nCross-functional Coordination: Facilitate communication between BD, Legal, Engineering, Product and other departments.\n\nEvent Support: Assist with trade shows, exhibitions, customer visits and business development events.\n\nProcess Support: Help maintain existing workflows, identify operational issues and suggest improvements.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n3-5 years of relevant experience in Business Development, Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, or a similar role.\n\nCRM proficiency: Hands-on experience with HubSpot and other CRM systems, including maintaining accurate records, tracking leads and opportunities, and managing pipeline data.\n\nRobotics or technology industry experience: Previous experience in robotics, automation, AI, or other innovative technology-driven industries is highly desirable.\n\nExperience in fast-paced environments: Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly to changing business needs, and work effectively in a dynamic, high-growth environment.\n\nStrong organisational and coordination skills: Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.\n\nCross-functional collaboration: Comfortable working closely with Business Development, Legal, Engineering, Product, and other teams to support commercial activities.\n\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive equity: stock options with meaningful upside as we scale.\n\n30+ paid days off, including 23 days of annual leave, all UK bank holidays, and additional company closure days (including Christmas-New Year shutdown).\n\nPrivate healthcare, including virtual and in-person care.\n\nPension scheme with 8% total contribution (5% employee, 3% employer) on full earnings.\n\nFree daily breakfast, catered lunch, and snacks in-office.\n\nWork at the frontier -
