As the on-site operations lead, you will coordinate site activities, collect operational data, and supervise a team of Field Operations Associates. This position requires problem-solving skills, sound judgement under pressure, and a customer-centric approach.\n.\nWhat You'll Do\nSupervise a team of Field Operations Associates, setting and maintaining high standards in a demanding operational setting. This is a hands-on operational and technical leadership role representing Humanoid at customer sites.\n\nAct as the on-shift operational leader, ensuring that the appropriate tools, spare parts, and equipment are available.\n\nSupervise standard operating procedures (SOPs) for customer sites and document learnings from field issues.\n\nTest product releases and robot capabilities.\n\nDiagnose hardware and software issues using logs, diagnostics, and field observations, performing maintenance where appropriate.\n\nCollect, analyse, and interpret operational data to evaluate robot performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvements.\n\nTrack, document, and reproduce software and hardware issues, providing clear technical feedback to engineering and product teams.\n\nTackle production incidents and technical issues in cooperation with service and engineering teams.\n\nAct as the primary on-shift liaison between the deployed location and Humanoid offices.\n\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Engineering, or a comparable field (or technical equivalent).\n\n2-5 years of experience in industrial automation, robotics, or automotive integration, deployment, and development.\n\nStrong technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, and networking systems, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting, assembly, and maintenance.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills, particularly in high-pressure operational environments.\n\nStrong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently in dynamic customer environments.\n\nFamiliarity with project management and collaboration software (Confluence, Jira, etc.).\n\nBusiness-fluent English.\n\nFlexibility to support future assignments at customer sites and occasional visits to company locations in the UK and Europe.\n\nUnrestricted right to work and live in the European Union.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nPrior experience in warehouse/logistics automation, industrial robotics, or humanoid robotics deployment.\n\nWorking knowledge of a relevant local language (e.g. German).\n\nValid Class B (or equivalent) driver's licence.\n\nFamiliarity with software integration and sensor-based automation.\n\nExperience with commissioning, acceptance testing, or software validation.\n\nExperience working in complex operational environments.\n\nExperience working directly with customers in an operational leadership role.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3456,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":2,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[{"language":"English","level":"Advanced (C1)","optional":false}]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Robotics AI","Logistics & Warehouse Robotics","Industrial Robotics","Humanoid Robots"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-22T18:25:50Z"}],"liveness":{"score":90,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.903,"p_room":1,"age_days":0,"expected_fill_days":66,"reasons":["conf:0","velocity","win:early"],"computed_at":"2026-09-23T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/humanoid-field-operations-team-lead-shift-supervisor","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/humanoid-field-operations-team-lead-shift-supervisor.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-23T20:25:15Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers"}}
