We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND-01 - our rapidly developed humanoid platform being deployed in real industrial environments - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.\nAbout the Role\nWe're looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design and iterate end effectors for our robots and the human-worn devices operators use to interface with them. You'll own mechanisms and assemblies end to end - from concept and CAD through to manufacturing drawings and production hand-off - working closely with electrical, firmware and prototyping engineers. This is a hands-on role where you'll balance rapid iteration with rigorous engineering fundamentals, in a high-paced environment where designs evolve quickly and priorities shift fast.\nWhat you'll do\nOwn Mechanical Design: Design mechanical components, assemblies and enclosures end-to-end using 3D CAD (Siemens NX), from concept through to manufacturing-ready drawings.\n\nIntegrate Mechatronic Systems: Integrate cameras, sensors, PCBAs and other mechatronic devices into mechanical assemblies, working closely with electrical and firmware engineers.\n\nBalance Design Trade-offs: Weigh weight, durability, ergonomics and manufacturability requirements to arrive at the right solution for each design.\n\nSelect Materials & Processes: Choose appropriate materials and manufacturing processes, including 3D printing, CNC machining, sheet metal and injection moulding.\n\nPrototype & Iterate: Rapidly prototype and refine designs based on testing, trials and feedback from engineering and customers.\n\nEngage with Customers: Work directly with customers to develop requirements and test plans that shape design decisions.\n\nApply DFM/DFA: Apply design-for-manufacture and design-for-assembly principles as designs move from prototype to production.\n\nSupport Validation: Plan and support mechanical validation and testing, including structural, environmental and durability testing.\n\nWhat we're looking for\nDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline, with 5+ years' experience in mechanical design for robotics, hardware, or complex electromechanical products.\n\nProficiency in 3D CAD (Siemens NX preferred, or strong willingness to learn), including GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.\n\nExperience designing for 3D printing, CNC machining, injection moulding and sheet metal, with hands-on rapid prototyping experience.\n\nExperience integrating electromechanical assemblies -
