Tracks and evaluates daily department tasks. Supervises and monitors goal achievement for direct reports. Manages and assigns tasks to direct reports. Interfaces with various internal departments. Drives continuous improvement initiatives or other projects as assigned.\nResponsibilities\nManagement of the AP team - delegate AP workload to the team and review work as needed\nManagement of vendor payments via ACH, wire, and/or checks\nDaily review of AP voucher distributions to ensure coding accuracy \nReview team members monthly vendor reconciliations\nEnforcement of proper accounting methods, policies, and procedures; providing recommendations for improvement \nApprove and process weekly employee expenses via expense management system (Emburse)\nMonitor internal controls to ensure compliance and produce key metrics \nCompiles AP information to assist with financial analysis \nActive participation in various company meetings serving as representation for the Accounts Payable department \nPreparation and delivery of year-end 1099 forms \nInteraction with other sub-units and supervisors within the company to resolve internal process issues related to Accounts Payable \nAssist with various tasks associated with company audits\nPerforms other related duties as assigned by management \nQualifications\nAbility to multi-task effectively while upholding deadlines set forth \nCollege degree in Accounting or a related field \n4-6 years of accounting experience or related field required \n2 years of supervisory experience \nDetail oriented with strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills \nHigh attention to detail and accuracy \nGood written and verbal communication skills \nEffective time management skills \n\nSalary Range: $71,434 - $104,194\nPlease note that the salary information is a general guideline.
