Join our team at Humanscale as a Facilities Technician and provide services to ensure that all productions systems, wiring and equipment remain functional. You will rely on your ability to multi-task as you work in a fast-paced environment to keep our company operational. Build your technical skills as you work closely with team members, handling orders in an efficient manner. Your organizational skills will also be required as you ensure that you have sufficient supplies and time to handle routine maintenance tasks and can quickly get other supplies as needed to reduce downtime.\nResponsibilities\nIndependently troubleshoot problems and complete corrective mechanical \nInspect on a routine basis- production, electrical, and plumbing equipment including wiring, fixtures and other components to ensure they remain functional and are up to code, as well as to identify any hazards or issues.\nDetermine the reasons for any malfunctions of systems or components and create a maintenance or repair plan to solve the problem.\nRepair electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, equipment and other components so that they remain at full functioning capacity.\nTest equipment and systems with proper tools to ensure equipment remains safe and operational \nReview blueprints to comprehend the working of equipment to provide the right service and repairs.\nProvide suggestions on the lifespan of equipment and components, advising when certain components should be replaced due to potential risks or failure.\nKeep records of all maintenance and repair work conducted, including a record of any supplies ordered and used.\nEnsure all routine maintenance work is handled on a regular schedule to reduce the risk of larger and more complex issues and to reduce costs.\nAbility to communicate and work with equipment manufacturer’s technical departments and outside service providers to repair, upgrade and maintain equipment.\nQualifications\nInstall, repair, and maintain components of industrial equipment.\nWork as a team member or alone to complete projects.\nObserve safety procedures and meet electrical codes.\nMake decisions based on technical documents.\nPerform quality testing and inspections.\nAssociate’s degree in related field (Not required, but a plus).\n3-5 years’ experience in production equipment, electrical maintenance or associated work.\nStrong verbal and oral communication skills.\nRelevant electrician certifications.\nProven problem-solving skills.\nFamiliar with the National Electrical Code.\nExperience with injection molding equipment preferred.\nBi-lingual (English & Spanish) preferred.\nCOMPUTER SKILLS \nKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams) to manage daily correspondence, create business documentation, and support collaboration across the organization.\n\nWHAT WE OFFER\nCompetitive salary\nMedical Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision)\nHSA, FSA, Commuter Benefits\nMedical Discounts\nAncillary Benefits\nAccident, Critical Illness, Hospital Insurance\nVoluntary, Spouse, and Child Life Insurance\nPet Insurance\nEmployee Discount Programs\n401k matching\nPaid time off (including 15 PTO days and 11 holidays)\nHourly Range: $28.25 -$41.21\nPlease note that the salary information is a general guideline.
