full-cycle HR operations including onboarding and offboarding processes\nProcess and manage payroll accurately and in a timely manner\nAdminister employee benefits (health, dental, vision, etc.)\nMaintain and update employee records and HR documentation\nEnsure compliance with federal, state (California), and local labor laws\nServe as a point of contact for employee inquiries and HR-related issues\nSupport performance management and employee relations as needed\nAssist with recruiting efforts, including job postings and interview coordination\nCommunicate and coordinate with internal stakeholders in both English and Japanese\nCollaborate with management to improve HR processes and workplace practices\nQualifications\n3-5 years of experience in Human Resources\n Japanese-English bilingual (required)\nHands-on experience with payroll processing (required)\nStrong knowledge of HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, and compliance\nFamiliarity with California labor laws preferred\nStrong organizational and communication skills\nAbility to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment\nExperience working in a small or mid-sized company
