Global Data Architecture Design and Implementation\nDesign, implement, and continuously optimise data architectures for globally distributed mobile applications.\n\nDevelop scalable data storage, transmission, synchronisation, and processing solutions across multiple cloud regions.\n\nDesign database sharding, distributed storage, and multi-region deployment strategies.\n\nAddress technical challenges involving cross-border data latency, consistency, availability, and multi-region coordination.\n\nEnsure reliable end-to-end processing and storage of user behavioural data, business data, and transaction data.\n\n2. Data Integration and ETL Pipeline Development\nDevelop and maintain data ingestion and ETL pipelines for mobile gaming user events, advertising SDKs, and attribution platforms such as AppsFlyer.\n\nIntegrate relevant data from third-party SDKs and internal applications into enterprise data platforms.\n\nBuild and maintain data processing pipelines supporting privacy and compliance requirements.\n\n3. Data Privacy and Cross-Border Compliance Engineering\nImplement technical controls for cross-border data transfers in accordance with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.\n\nDevelop and maintain data access permissions, data transfer controls, and appropriate security safeguards.\n\nAutomate workflows supporting data subject requests, including data deletion and data access or export requests.\n\nCollaborate with infrastructure and security teams to implement sensitive data discovery, access audit logging, and data lineage capabilities.\n\nProvide technical documentation and evidence to support privacy assessments and audits conducted by the Data Protection Officer (DPO) or relevant compliance teams.\n\n4. Cross-Functional Collaboration\nCollaborate with global data engineering, algorithm, game product, and monetisation teams to standardise data definitions and reporting metrics.\n\nDesign secure data aggregation and synchronisation solutions while maintaining appropriate restrictions on cross-border transfers.\n\nProduce technical architecture documentation, data flow diagrams, and compliance-related design specifications.\n\nRequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.\n\nAt least 3 years of relevant experience in backend development, data engineering, or data architecture.\n\nProficiency in Java, Go, Python, or similar backend development languages.\n\nStrong knowledge of microservices, distributed databases, data synchronisation, and multi-region architecture.\n\nHands-on experience with databases and middleware such as MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.\n\nExperience designing and optimising large-scale data platforms.\n\nKnowledge of data encryption, masking, anonymisation, access controls, and audit logging.\n\nAbility to translate privacy and regulatory requirements into practical engineering solutions.\n\nFamiliarity with relevant data protection regulations, including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, Singapore's PDPA, and applicable regional privacy laws.\n\nStrong problem-solving, technical documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.\n\nPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting internationally distributed mobile applications, gaming, e-commerce, social media, or consumer technology products.\n\nExperience implementing cross-border data transfer controls, data localisation solutions, and multi-cloud architectures.\n\nRelevant certifications such as CISSP, CISP, or other data security qualifications.\n\nPrevious involvement in major privacy compliance remediation or cross-border data
