The BIM Coordinator is a full time position with opportunities to grow and expand your knowledge on our VDC/BIM team.\nThe BIM Coordinator will work with internal and external teams comprised of engineers, BIM and Revit operators, General Contractors, Project Managers, and Owners to produce high quality models and shop drawings for construction.\nMajor Duties:\nDevelop BIM Models in Revit - Create and maintain accurate 3D models of electrical systems including telecom, fire alarm & security when required.\nImplement BIM Execution Plan - Review and implement project specifications and BIM LOD’s, as well as following industry and company standards.\nWork closely with project managers, foreman and other project teams to coordinate and resolve design conflicts. \nProduce accurate and constructable plan sets, schedules, and detailed drawings.\nAssist and support development and maintenance of project standards.\nActively contribute to a positive team environment.\nDemonstrate dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.\nBe a self starter.\nOther duties or locations as assigned by Manager.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nExperience working with BIM software including Revit, Navisworks, and Revizto.\nExperience with electrical systems including the ability to read a single line and plan sets preferred.\nAbility to actively listen, understand, and respond to diverse perspectives.\nDemonstrate ability to think critically, identify root causes, and develop creative solutions.\nExperience working with cloud-based models.\nUnderstanding of MS Office including Word and Excel.\nAutodesk certification or associate's degree in AutoCAD/Revit drafting and design preferred.\nAs a full-time BIM Coordinator, you would also be eligible for an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, life insurance, short and long-term disability, a 401(k) plan, and paid personal time (PTO).\nAbout Hunt Electric\nHunt Electric, Inc. is a full-service electrical, technology, and infrastructure contractor with wide-reaching services available in a variety of markets.
