This is a full time position with opportunities to grow and expand your knowledge in our Service Department.\nOur Electrical Service Electrician need to adapt to changing codes, regulations, and safety requirements, have the ability to troubleshoot, pull wire, bend pipe and compute electrical formulas. This position requires the knowledge to install control circuits and other components. We are looking for someone with the capabilities to read, interpret, and understand electrical plans, complex circuit schematics, and blueprints.\nMajor Duties:\nRespond to jobs as scheduled by coordinator and manager.\nBe proficient in analyzing, troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues.\nKeep van stocked as described with material per the list provided by manager.\nAlways drive van in a professional and courteous manner.\nKeep van clean, organized and ensure all tools are maintained and accounted for.\nAlways maintain a neat and presentable appearance.\nOrder materials as required for job completion.\nFill out paperwork daily and turn in as directed by manager.\nUpon leaving let customer know you are finished and verify satisfaction.\nEnsure work order is signed prior to leaving site.\nBasic computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.\nSell service whenever possible and when in areas with other businesses around. Leave a card or pamphlet with each completed project.\nWork together with other technicians and managers on ideas for improvement. Shared knowledge prevents making the same mistakes twice.\nSupport other technicians to create an environment of positive communication.\nShow customers sense of urgency, discuss the project with them, if needed, and complete work in a timely manner.\nActively contributes to a positive team environment.\nDemonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.\nDemonstrates knowledge of the National Electric Code.\nBe a self-starter and be dependable.\nOther duties or locations as assigned by Manager\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBe respectful and courteous at all times.\nProblem solving.\nLeave job site cleaner than when it was when you got there.\nValid Driver’s License and clean MVR for the past 3 years.\nOperating vehicles and equipment.\nAbility to work with other trades.\nExperience in all aspects of electrical systems including commercial, industrial, residential, electrical efficiency, fire alarm, lighting control systems, lighting types, heat tape, and experience with Xcel Energy and other electrical utility guidelines.\nBe flexible with constant changes and moving around.\nValid Utah apprentice electrical license.\nAs a full-time Electrical Service Apprentice, you would also be eligible for an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, life insurance, short and long-term disability, a 401(k) plan, and paid personal time (PTO).\nHunt Electric, Inc. is a full-service electrical, technology, and infrastructure contractor with wide-reaching services available in a variety of markets.
