The Construction Manager(DAS) position will be a hybrid position that incorporates skill sets and duties of both the field and office teams.\nThe Construction Manager(DAS) will need to have experience in estimating jobs, planning & running work, material procurement, resource planning, and or subcontractor management. The Construction Manager (DAS) will also be responsible for the QA/QC Program and help develop and enhance training modules for the field personnel to train on. The Construction Manager (DAS) will also participate in training field personnel from foreman to apprentice levels in all aspects of execution and planning. This position will be the liaison between office and field, with responsibilities in both environments.\nMajor Duties:\nAssist with Planning and Defining Scope.\nOversee day-to-day operations of Project Delivery and managed field installations teams.\nAssist with Activity Coordination & Sequencing, perform and oversee WSP/carrier base station installations, communications site grounding, and commissioning and turnup.\nSchedule resources and manpower, mentor, perform team leadership & training and assist with team staffing.\nAssist with project scheduling, budget management, financial projections, material procurement, and closeout documentation.\nUnderstand Construction Drawings.\nInteract with Client, General Contractor, Subcontractors, and Project Stakeholders to understand, prioritize, and manage customer expectations.\nMonitor and report Project Progress, perform risk analysis and mitigation, and control quality by performing QA/QC.\nInterpret Communications Cable Traces and Troubleshoot Faulty Cables (coax, UTP & fiber).\nOversee Multiple Simultaneous Site System Installations.\nActively contributes to a positive team environment.\nDemonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.\nOther duties or locations as assigned by Manager.\nMinimum Qualifications:\n8+ Years in Distributed Antenna System (DAS) or cellular phone tower industry.\nExperience leading small teams.\nProject financial management experience.\nHold safety in high regard while maintaining a high level of quality craftsmanship exceeding customer expectations.\nWillingness to help educate and train team members.\nExperience running large, complex projects .\nProficient computer skills and strong communications skills.\nAbility to pass a background check and have a valid driver’s license.\nAs a full-time Construction Manager, you would also be eligible for an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, life insurance, short and long-term disability, a 401(k) plan, and paid personal time (PTO).\nAbout Hunt Electric\nHunt Electric, Inc. is a full-service electrical, technology, and infrastructure contractor with wide-reaching services available to all types of markets.
