This position will be on site, project based in the Hibbing area.\n\nJob Description:\nRole and Responsibilities:\nMaintain existing and develop new customer relationships to secure future business.\nDirect and supervise service technicians, general foremen, foremen and their crews in a manner as to comply with the contracts executed by Hunt Electric Corporation, union agreements, and all policies and procedures.\nManage assigned projects as economically as possible while recognizing commitment to customer satisfaction, quality workmanship and positive industry image.\nPrepare, process and maintain all files, correspondence, schedules, reports, and billing necessary to perform the responsibilities of the contract.\nDirect the planning of the project through purchasing, engineering, subletting and installation.\nWhen necessary, work with a team during the bidding process.\nQualifications and Education Requirements:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nAt least 5 years of experience working as a project manager in the electrical industry.\nAbility to understand design/build requirements as well as the scope of the contract documents issued for the electrical work to be performed.\nKnowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the electrical industry.\nKnowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and the coordination of manpower and resources.\nAbility to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish the work.\nEffectively communicate verbally and in writing.\nAbility to train, delegate, and coordinate work of Assistant Project Manager, Estimators, and other team members.\nPhysical Requirements\nThis job operates in a professional office environment.
