They should have knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes, materials management, and (construction) project management.\n\nJob Description:\nRole and Responsibilities:\nStrategic Planning and Innovation:\nContribute to the development of strategic plans and initiatives to drive business growth\n\nLead organizational change initiatives by identifying opportunities for process improvements and innovation in project delivery\n\nStay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance project outcomes\n\nLeadership and Development\nManage a team of Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers\n\nManage project interactions with shared service teams including Virtual Design in Construction, Advanced Construction Planning, Engineering, Purchasing, and Logistics\n\nExecute strategic initiatives while driving operational excellence at Baer Manufacturing\n\nDevelop and implement business plans and strategies for project delivery at Baer Manufacturing\n\nFoster leadership development and build high-performing teams, including conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback to team members and project teams\n\nBusiness Development Interactions:\nAlign with BD on newly awarded projects for complete planning /preparedness of large-scale complex projects\n\nProvide seamless transition of project-specific details to the execution teams\n\nProject Management Interactions:\nAssist Operations Managers and Project Teams in developing execution strategies ensuring they meet client specifications and company standards.\n\nDevelop and implement project scheduling strategies, methodologies, and best practices.\n\nClient and Stakeholder Engagement:\nAssist in client communications by ensuring clear communication and alignment of project goals, schedules and deliverables\n\nAddress project team concerns and provide communication and support throughout the project lifecycle\n\nBudget and Resource Management:\nOversee the department's performance, measure and monitor profitability and cost management and drive financial results that positively impact the profitability of our projects\n\nAssist in establishing detailed project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control\n\nCollaborate with support teams to optimize resource utilization and planning\n\nQualifications and Education Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred\n\nMinimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the electrical contracting or construction industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role\n\nKnowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and the coordination of workforce and resources\n\nExperience in driving accountability for financial and operational effectiveness, integrating and aligning efforts across departments, monitoring results, and tackling problems directly\n\nExperience in a complex business as an active participant in driving growth and change; demonstrated effectiveness in driving operations and executing plans\n\nRelevant certifications in electrical work or safety management are a plus\n\nKey Skills and Competencies:\nStrong leadership and team management skills\n\nExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities\nProficiency in project management software and tools\n\nIn-depth knowledge of electrical systems, construction processes, and industry regulations.\n\nDemonstrated integrity and ethical standards\n\nCollaborative leadership style with the ability to identify talent, create and develop teams, and build trust and engagement\n\nWhy Hunt Electric?\nHunt Electric is a 100% employee-owned company with over 60 years of stability, momentum, and exciting growth ahead-our future is bright!
